HealthPartners (HP) Urgent Care is Bangin'!!! I was there two days in a row; first day was for me, Mom, and the second day was for my two children. We got there early so after being seen, getting labs and X-rays for whatever illness is running rampage around this time. The HP Medical Staff got us in and out.
I will say this, the front desk Blonde ladies were excellent!! Will HP please stop forcing them ladies to kiosk us too death. I had to kiosk at McDonalds, so I made it fun and added jalapenos and mushrooms to everything. Don't be trying to get rid of the humans because HP is trying to do the man-made robot. (kiosk). As others have pointed out, they’re implementing self-check-in kiosks, and starting to require you to use them. Seems like a bad idea at a clinic for a bunch of people to be touching the same thing all day, don’t you think? It’s also a privacy and accessibility concern (visually impaired? Can’t read English? Aged out of learning new tech? Exhausted parent juggling kids and don’t have a hand to tap the screen?). I’ve seen all these examples at my visits. One less reason to talk face-to-face with our fellow humans, sigh.
Be aware that this clinic recently instituted a kiosk check in system where anyone in the lobbys (the main entry hallway, and check in areas) can see your personally identifiable information.
Staff are great but not sure what the clinic directors were thinking here.
If they don't correct this, I won't be back.
