“Had someone from Excel stop by in early November inquiring about looking at my roof from the storm earlier in the month for a claim. I was skeptical, but went through the places. In a few weeks, had approval for a new roof and gutters from insurance. Got things scheduled with excel and they were done in early November with a new roof and gutters. There were a couple of minor miscommunications but Excel fixed the small problems that came about. I would 100% recommend them for any futures exterior house needs.“

He reconfigured an area of exposed concrete, which was a prominent eyesore, to look like the brick surrounding the brick on our house which is no longer available for sale. He also repaired and then re-dashed the entire front of the house and the areas where he had made repairs on the sides and back of the house.I cannot say enough good things about Modern Exteriors. “We used Pro24 and Joe Ashton to take a look at our roof after a storm. He and his brother were very thorough and after a couple of hours and 50 pictures determined that there was a lot of damage. They did most all of the work with my insurance company to get coverage for the damage, including helping resolve some resistance from the insurance company. After getting approval, they handled all of the arrangements for getting the roof repaired/replaced and Joe was hands on supervising the roofers to make certain it was done correctly. Joe and his brother were very courteous and helpful, never once trying to sell us anything that wasn't needed. The results were excellent. They finished in a timely manor, made sure everything that was damaged was replaced properly, including using a better grade of shingles than were used before. It was all covered by our homeowners insurance, including things they found as they progressed with the job. We were totally satisfied with their work, from beginning to end and we highly recommend them for your general contractor needs.“

“In 2018 we chose Tomco’s bid to completely gut and remodel our basement. We obtained multiple quotes for that work. Although Tomco was not the lowest bid, it also was not the highest bid. We chose Tomco at that time not only based on price but also because of the detailed plans he presented to accomplish the work. We were delighted with the finished product and have since hired Tomco to complete the remodeling of our house on the main floor and loft. Tom took our basic ideas and expanded on them, providing us with excellent recommendations and solutions to problems that other contractors would not tackle. The end result in the winter of 2020 is our entire home has been remodeled by Tomco from bottom to top and we are extremely pleased with the end results.
