“Cedar Valley had replaced a roof for someone else in my neighborhood and noticed that I might have some damage from a recent hail storm. After inspecting the roof, they explained why it needed to be replaced and supported me through the process of justifying to my insurance company why the hail had caused the damage and required replacement. The crew did an excellent and quick job of replacing my house and shed roof with the highest quality materials. I am only not giving a full five stars due to some lapses in communication and the timeline between initial visit and the completion of the roof replacement. The quality of the work was excellent.“

“They did a good job with the removal and replacement of our roof. However they need to work on communication and hiring people that can speak English. I was not able to communicate very well with the crew as they only spoke Spanish. The crew was scheduled for 8am but showed up at 645am and started to work without any notice. Would have been nice for someone to ask if it was OK to get started that early. Otherwise they seam to do a good job. After they were done and cleaned up their stuff they piled the extra things on a pallet that they left in the front yard. They did not say anything to anyone that they were done or what was with the pallet of left over. The next day a guy in one of their company pickups stop and grabbed a box of nails from the pallet but did not say anything to us. It was a day and a half after the job was done, I moved the pallet of stuff to the back of my house not knowing if it was left for me or what was to be done with it. Later that day a semi showed up to get the stuff. They do good work but need to work on communication with the customer. Our son Allen, who works for them and is the reason we went with this company, did a great job with showing the product and getting us setup.“

“Summit Exteriors just completed the replacement of the final half of the original windows on our 70-year-old home. I had never heard of Summit when I called them for a competing bid last fall. I like to get bids from smaller, local companies that have been in business for awhile. The job just finished up due to the size of the job and some issues along the way. Sometimes unusual problems can arise when dealing with an older home and the installers hit a doozy (downstairs windows installed with concrete). The entire team handled it professionally, solved the problem, and eventually were able to laugh about it. There were additional fees for additional work, but Summit did their best to minimize that as much as possible, and we get that's part of having work done on an older home. The crew did a perfect job matching the stain color of our oak trim and the fir trim downstairs. The install crew was really great group of guys and it was comfortable having them work in our house for a period of time. They laid down drop cloths every day and vacuumed every day when they were done. Ryan was amazing: he came every day, made sure we were happy and didn't need anything, and checked on the installation, etc. Such a nice, thoughtful guy. What a gem! In summary, we couldn't be happier and the price was very competitive! I would definitely use Summit again for work on our house.“

“Craftsman’s Choice replaced 5 windows, a sliding door, and redid siding on one section of our home back in August. Everyone from Ben, to Chris, to Lee and Donny were pleasant and excellent to work with, and the work looks fantastic. They even went out of their way to fix a bit of siding for me around the replacement area. Next time I have exterior work, I won’t use anyone else except Craftsman's Choice.“

Our project involved a bathroom remodel, landscaping, concrete walkways, stairways and railings, roofing, exteriors of 3 buildings, windows, doors, and change over of heating fuel. Too much to show and tell all the great improvements. The sub-contractors were equally good at what they do as well as respectful. They worked well with our preferred businesses and orchestrated it with our needs in mind. I just wish I had a photo of the old iron tub that came out of the bathroom before it was transformed.“
