Anjidoeshair is a welcoming and friendly salon run by an Indigenous hairstylist and barber. The studio is a low key, single chair space where all are welcome. Anji specializes in shags, mullets, fringes, and layered cuts, with a particular love for balayage and vivid colors. She works carefully to create customized hairstyles that highlight clients' best features and personality. Many clients appreciate her attention to detail, especially those with challenging hair, cowlicks, or social anxiety. Anji takes the time to listen to her clients’ needs and explains her process clearly, offering styling tips and product advice. She is known for her professionalism, caring attitude, and ability to fix botched dye jobs. Clients often leave feeling happy with their perfect cut, bangs, or color, and recommend her highly. Overall, Anjidoeshair provides a relaxing, personalized haircut experience that brings out each person's unique style.
Anji is the best. She is the only hair stylist I have had who truly listens and executes a cut that matches my hair texture, volume (of hair) and personal needs.
I have A LOT of hair- tons of hair, and every strand of it is fine in texture. I also have a natural wave to my hair.. and a personal desire for it to be short, while also being wild. Anji gets it. She takes the time to make sure my cut looks like “me”. My cuts always grow out beautifully, leaving me pleased for a few (or more) months before getting myself tamed again.
She is a wonderfully talented artist and collaborator, who continues to impress me.
Anji is so great to work with! Anji is knowledgeable and is willing to educate and provide tips, something that is greatly appreciated on my end :) Their space is warm and welcoming, as is Anji, and I would definitely recommend!
I am someone who rarely feels understood by a hair stylist, but felt like Anji totally saw me. She gave me the cut I had envisioned while still tailoring it to what best suited me. I’m in love with my new hair. She’s the sweetest and such a pro!
