Their companion care allowed our loving and fiercely independent mother, who had growing cognitive care needs, to remain safely in her home for several months while we searched for the right long-term living arrangement. We started with five mornings a week, and to our great relief, our mom immediately connected with her caregiver, Betty. Betty’s gentle, thoughtful approach put our mother at ease from day one, and we were amazed that she welcomed the daily visits without resistance.
As an out-of-town daughter, I especially appreciated the detailed notes the caregivers provided after each visit. Their honesty and transparency were invaluable, including when they shared their concerns that our mom was beginning to need more care. Because of the trust built with Betty during the mornings, adding evening care was a smooth and successful transition.
Joyful Companions’ social worker was another tremendous resource. Sarah and Joleen offered guidance, compassion, and concrete support for navigating care decisions with a loved one who resists any changes to their routine.
We truly could not have managed this difficult transition without the incredible caregivers and staff at Joyful Companions. Their professionalism, kindness, and steady support made all the difference for our mom and for us as a family. Highly, highly recommend.“

“My Dad is 93 with dementia and many other co-morbidities. I could not take care of him without the help of these folks! They are very professional, accommodating and so kind. We use many of their services - skilled nursing, home health aids, PT and OT and they are all top notch and soooo nice. I feel totally comfortable with my Dad’s needs in their hands.“

“Ok Saturday my husband was coming home from hospital help was suppose to be here to helpi was on way home from hospital grandson called and said no one was here and no one called to say that no one would be here not acceptable!!! Then today Monday no one came should be here at 8:00 did get call from them at 8:20.there looking for someone .I can't take care of him by myself.This has happened to. Us before. I have been very happy with the help they have sent me lately the girls are super kind and gentle with my husbund .Some have gone above and beyond to help us and I thank them for that..Hopefully things will get better in the future for my husband's care .“

“This has been THE only outstanding company I would even advocate for. Why? Because, as a client, they have gone above and way beyond anything any company has or would do for someone.And they certainly have "bent over backwards" many times for me. Ive had some dishonest and just plain BAD workers. They listened and addressed my concerns immediately. I was involved in the process by being informed of the change that woud affect me, being given a new worker right away, and that they would be addressing this with that individual. The company would give them chances to change their behavior and work with them also. This is how this company treats everyone, clients and workers, with compassion and empathy! “My family could not be more grateful for our amazing in home care provided by Stephanie with Comfort Keepers. I have not seen my grandmother in such high spirits in ages! The benefits of a routine that Stephanie has provided are amazing. Stephanie brings warmth, knowledge, caring and fun into the home with her!
Stephanie plays wonderful games that challenge my grandmas mind to stay active and gets her on the bike for exercise and at 92 my grandma still has her mobility and that is a huge thanks to the routine Steph provides.
She stays on top of hygiene, diet, exercise, and education for us on how best to care for grandma! And as if that was not enough Steph helped my grandmas make some homemade Christmas ornaments to give the family as gifts and it is the best keepsake! The joy, care, companionship and support provided has truly blown my mind!
