“This was my first time working with these lovely ladies. After an initial consultation, they helped me find hair products to prepare my hair for upcoming color sessions and better health.At my visit, they did a great job making me feel welcome and heard. The aftermath of my appointment was a great haircut and beautiful color.After a few days with my new color, I realized it was a bit too blonde for what I was hoping to go for. Lauren was able to get me back into the salon quickly and add more color that matched what I was hoping for that left my hair feeling and looking beautiful.They want the best for their client just as much as we want to walk away with a great color/cut.Highly recommend for their skills, their hospitality, and their open line of communication. “I truly cannot say enough about Nicole and her salon, but I’ll try to keep this short and sweet:1. She listens! I expressed very specific goals for my (unruly) naturally curly hair. Nicole was optimistic during this conversation and integrated these goals in my daily, weekly and monthly hair routine.2. She educates! When it comes to curly hair, Nicole is on-point! Wide-tooth comb, “raking”, heat- products… etc.3. She is respectful of your time! She is on-time, and NOT double-booking clients. While my hair was processing, I enjoyed my conversation with her. I never felt “ignored”.4. Salon is beautiful and clean! The salon is very welcoming, light, airy and clean. It was quiet (since she is the only stylist) which I REALLY enjoyed.5. She doesn’t try to push product! I’m sure Nicole carry’s a product line, but I couldn’t tell you what it is. That’s because when I expressed my hair goals, Nicole tailored a variety of products that she believes will be best suited for my hair. Her intent is for me to achieve amazing hair - not make a commission.6. When I left the salon after my appointment, I looked and felt amazing. ❤️Overall, Nicole is not only amazing at her job, she is an incredible human being. I drove from Lansing specifically for this kind of service and I would absolutely make the trip again.
