“Got my haircut today and now I’m so sad that Jenelle is leaving in July because they’re fantastic! Honestly I haven’t gotten my hair professionally cut in over a year because of my social anxiety and can never find the right salon. Well they were relatable, down to earth, and really puts their clients first. Even “put up with” my overthinking and honesty at the end to make sure I loved the haircut (I do!) Definitely would go back for other services too. The salon is so pretty and diverse.“

“I had the best experience at Body Haus! I scheduled a head spa with Persephone and it was everything I imagined and more! Totally relaxed. Heated body table. Heated eye mask. The products and brushes/tools that were used during the treatment really seemed to be getting the job done plus it just felt amazing. Persephone made me feel at ease and had such a calming presence. “I just recently went here for the first time. The salon is very clean and cute. Sam Cooley did a full balayage on me and it turned out awesome! She also gave me a blow out and curled my hair. I paid $205 which was a bit more than I accepted but it turned out great.“

“Had to wait but that's my fault because I didn't schedule an appointment. As soon as a pedicure chair was available you had me in the chair and started working. Most of the time you do a great job. I didn't like the last lady I had as she was on her phone watching a movie, I think, the entire time she was giving me a pedicure and manicure. I very rarely get a manicure because I don't usually like the way my nails look when done, and that time was no exception. On the whole, I like what you do.“

“Genuinely love coming here to get my braids done. As a single mom of 3 it makes it a bit more attainable.

That said, the real reason I have enjoyed my braiding sessions is because the students help one another out, give each other constructive criticism and do a stellar job, the instructors are so good and float around to make sure everything is ok. The energy I have received from the students and faculty who have ended up braiding my hair is excitement and achievement and confidence. Love it.

Something to keep in mind is that for braids they are learning and growing. You can’t expect something from students that someone with 20 years of braiding experience can give you.

“If I could give Erick 10 stars, I would! I had the most fun and thorough makeup lesson in his gorgeous Victorian salon. I had a very dated look and had really never learned the proper way to apply makeup. I learned so much about how light and dark shades either attract the eye or create shadow. He also helped me understand more about which products are better for older skin. He helped me work with the products that I already owned but had plenty of other recommendations for other options. I felt so beautiful when I left and will start practicing so I can perfect the skills he taught me. ?“
