I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Debbie for our wedding flowers. From the very beginning, she took the time to consult with me to understand my vision and the specific color palette I had in mind. She created stunning arrangements for our wedding party, family, my bouquet, bud vases, and floral stands. My flowers were beautifully vibrant and in perfect bloom! At the wedding, I received countless compliments from guests on my bouquet and floral stands!
Debbie went above and beyond to coordinate the delivery and setup, making sure all of the flowers were perfectly in place at the venue. Throughout the entire planning and set-up process, Debbie was easy to communicate with and ensured I was able to simply enjoy the day!
We have searched high and low for a good, personal, groomer for our Labradoodle. Finally we found her!!! What a great experience for our dog! She took her time and was very attentive to the needs of Tipper. Tipper who usually hates anything to do with spa day, was all smiles when we picked her up. Highly recommended!
I don’t usually go to salons because the thickness of my hair is hard to work with but Linda didn’t have anything but compliments! She did amazing and is an absolute doll, so kind! Great atmosphere as well
There is nothing like a small town business that can identify you by name when you walk in. The staff here is excellent, and so is the Doctor. I've been coming here for around 5 years now and will continue to stay here as long as I can.

We’ve been using De Hooghe & Viau for almost six years since moving to Gladstone, and they’ve always done reliable work for us. This most recent situation was just tough because our boiler/heat pump issue left more than half our home without heat. We were originally told it would be 3–4 weeks before someone could come out, but it stretched into nearly two months. With winter temps dropping and both of us working from home, the delay was rather stressful and that’s the only reason this isn’t a 5-star review.
Once Rob arrived, though, everything changed for the better. He diagnosed the problem immediately, got the system running properly again, and took the time to walk us through what happened. He even showed us how to release excess air from our baseboard system to prevent the gurgling sounds that can occur and solved it right away. His explanation matched everything I’ve since read about how these systems work, which gave us a lot of confidence in the fix.
Rob’s professionalism, knowledge, and the pride he clearly takes in his work really stood out! We later learned he’s the owner, and it shows. We are GENUINELY grateful for how quickly he resolved things once he was here, and we appreciate the care he put into making sure we understood our system going forward.
If the wait time had been shorter, this would have easily been a 5-star experience. That said, we’re very happy with the outcome and will continue using De Hooghe & Viau.
The folks at D & D are the greatest. They have cared for and groomed my kids for several years. Always with the utmost kindness and attention. I recently had to rehome my kids due to extreme health issues. The folks at D & D took it upon themselves to find the best, most loving home for them after being turned away by other local shelters. These people are very special and I can't recommend them any higher.
I called very concerned about my kitty. I assistant I spoke with was wonderful and worked to get me on the schedule as soon as possible. Made getting records sent easy and contacted the shelter for me. Definitely recommend working with them.
