Came home after a double shift to find water on my floor and my hot water heater came to it's expiration date and needing replacement. Called DeHooghe and Viau and talked to Kathy and she told me that their repairman were close by on a job and would have them come by after they were finished. Started this whole process around 9:30 AM and was expecting to have them come by and tell me that they would have to replace and figured I would have to schedule an appointment and would probably have h of water again in a week or so. I called for a plumber. Instead, the lady on the phone lead us through a series of tasks to troubleshoot our new faucet. After several phone calls, texts, and photos back and forth, she determined what part of our plumbing needed to be changed. A small adapter.She told us to come in and pick one up from her in the morning. She charged us $3.00 for the part and it fixed the issue, instantly.The plumbing visit would have been $90 by itself. She wanted to save us the money and save her guys the extra travel for something she could fix on her own. We tried to fix it for 3 days - she did it over the phone. And free of charge. VERY Professional! Kathy was always quick at returning phone calls and her service techs that came to my home and installed a new water line were awesome! Would definitely hire again. In todays world of the Covid Pandemic - so many companies I have contacted to give them my money in the past month have TERRIBLE customer service - won't even return a phone call but NOT DeHooghe & Via Plumbing & Heating. Thier Customer Service was 2nd to NONE! Give them a call and support small business today!
