“Motive Training is the BEST! After having shoulder surgery in 2019, I struggled with chronic shoulder pain for 4 years. As a very active person for most of my life, I had a difficult time figuring out how to work out and be active without pain. I was recommended by a coworker to check out Motive and since the start of my training in April 2023, it has truly changed my life. I have worked with Marie for the last 9 months and she is AMAZING. She is kind, knowledgeable, and always finds ways to challenge me to improve my fitness! I am now mostly pain free and am doing physical activity that I never thought I would be able to do again. The entire Motive staff is wonderful and I highly recommend Motive to anyone on their fitness journey!“

“Very nice facility and instructors . Owner Rick spends a-lot of time with each of the kids. He mixes in fun before the lessons so the kids stay engaged. Brad , another instructor, has a very kind and patient demeanor as he teaches. Nick really responded well, and he’s looking forward to his next lesson. Seeing him get a passion for learning the martial arts makes me happy, as I feel it gets you ready for meeting goals and challenges later.The kids there are taught self discipline and grit at this dojo. They are expected to meet challenges head on, and accomplish their goals. You might see a few push ups scattered around here and there, if they aren’t on time, for example.I noticed that there were quite a few younger ones, that have earned, tested and advanced up to a lot of different colored belts. I can’t wait to see my 11 year old(almost 12), put the work in and move up. His starting belt is white right now.As a Mom, I like the self defense part of the program. Never hurts to know a bit of that, in these days and times.Highly recommend … I think this is great for all ages and the price is very reasonable in my opinion.“

“I had the pleasure of a 45 minute private lesson with Rebecca Russell who was simply outstanding. Rebecca blended the history of Pilates with clear and helpful instruction on how to best use the Pilates equipment for the biggest benefit. The hip and strength training to include core and upper body was most helpful. I can clearly understand the benefit of Pilates if used on a consistent basis. However, the one area it did not work for me was getting my heart rate up or sweating. These are two requirements I have when working out. That aside, Rebecca Russell was an excellent instructor and I would highly recommend her.“
