“I have a small rescue dog, about 7 pounds, with a pervasive and recurring digestive issue. In a very short time Dr Mazukie was able to discover not only an unusual intestinal problem but also a thyroid issue. Over a very short time we were able to stabilize her but given continued treatment I’m confident that she has extended her lifespan significantly. I’m convinced that other practitioners simply wouldn’t have provided a similar outcome. I would not hesitate to select Ross Veterinarian Hospital for any pets, in my opinion you could not find better local Veterinary services.“

“I sent Cairo to a 2 week boot camp. I love my boy but I did the worst thing you could do as a parent of a dog. He had no boundaries and free reign of the house. He also had major separation anxiety. Victoria undid 3 years of learned behavior in 10 days. He no longer pulls on our walks. He listens and is much more obedient and much calmer. He is a pure joy to be with and I love him even more. I can’t thank Victoria enough for the amazing transformation of my guy.“

“People here care about you pet like you do. They have a camera so you can see your pet in their sleeping area at any time. Complementary bath when we picked him up and they do a great job at trimming his nails. Little more expensive than many other places but knowing your pet is well cared for is worth it. Our 16 year old dog was there for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. Nice caring people.“

“All the staff are very efficient and friendly. They clearly enjoy working with animals. Dr Viney goes above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make sure my little girl Audie (Beagle mix) is well taken care of. Audie actually enjoys coming to the vet. Dr Viney always gives her lots of love and attention as do all the techs she's worked with.“

“I’ve had the pleasure of using PAWS several times now, with increased satisfaction with every visit. The sitters are efficient and friendly, and are always reporting back. Our cats were a little freaked out by “new” people in the house, but quickly became more comfortable with each passing day. (I could see their expressions from the photos that were sent to me daily by the sitters. Initially they were a little uneasy, and then completely comfortable after a few days.). PAWS also demonstrates great Customer Service. We had a little billing snafu that was quickly corrected. I highly recommend this service for you and your fur babies!“

“The staff were excellent. I would have liked to have been notified that Dr. Seferi was no longer there. All of the prices have gone up and now you charge a sanitation fee per pet. Might have to search for a place more affordable.“

“Our dog Kaya had been having issues with her rear passenger side leg for weeks. The first vet said it was a sprain which we knew wasn't right. The second vet said it was likely a partial tear of the ACL (CCL) and recommended we go to a specialist, which we did. We booked a consultation and they agreed it was likely a partial CCL tear and explained how they'd fix it. The process is called TPLO. Simply, the CCL can't be repaired so they shave and rearrange the structure of the knee. It involved metal plates and bolts and... TPLO was all they did. We didn't feel good about that solution and it seemed the only one they were prepared to explain to us so we held off and continued to look for other providers. We kept seeing references to "Dr. Wright". "I should have gone to Dr. Wright!", or "A friend recommended Dr, Wright. I wished I'd followed that recommendation." My wife tracked him down over the holidays but on New Years Day Kaya took that final bad step totaling her CCL so we called and booked a consultation with him. ----- I'm going to pause here for a second to state the obvious. No procedure is 100%. No Doctor or hospital is 100%. We all want what's best for our loved ones and it's possible what's best for one family/pet will be completely different for another. There is no wrong answer is what I mean to say. TPLO is fine. I just didn't feel it was right for us or Kaya. Okay, back to it... ----- The procedure Dr. Wright does is a little different. The CCL is gone but what he does is to essentially replace it with two nylon bands that mimic the CCL. The CCL is central to the knee. Dr. Wright's two bands are external (inside and outside) which should actually add a level of stability. This solution made sense to me, has been as successful as TPLO but comes with far lower infection risks per the studies my wife and I were able to find. Kaya took that bad step on the 1st. She had her surgery on the 8th and her surgical bandages came off today (1/11). The office called us the day after her surgery to make sure everything was okay. They've been extremely communicative. Kaya's surgical bandages started to slip so we called the office. Dr. Wright wasn't in but they were able to play go-between. Dr. Wright asked for pictures so he could tell what was going on. I texted them to the office immediately and within the hour we had an appointment to address the issue for the next day. For me the highest prays is this: Kaya is always perfectly happy to jump into the car and go to Gasow. She knows where her room is and is happy to see everyone. That, for us, is the icing on the cake. I'll update as we move through the process but I wanted to be sure to share our experience. Everyone has been so wonderful and the results thus far are stellar. Thank you Gasow. Thank you Dr. Wright. Kaya sends all the kisses.“
