Our dog Kaya had been having issues with her rear passenger side leg for weeks. The first vet said it was a sprain which we knew wasn't right. The second vet said it was likely a partial tear of the ACL (CCL) and recommended we go to a specialist, which we did. We booked a consultation and they agreed it was likely a partial CCL tear and explained how they'd fix it. The process is called TPLO. I'm not the one to write reviews often, but I felt like I had to leave one with the experience I had. I came to Gasow Veterinary Hospital about a week and a half ago for an emergency visit for my dog, because he started vomiting over and over again, and had blood in his stool as well. Gasow was beyond accommodating. There's only 15 minutes left until for their last patient slot and I was about still 35 minutes away from where I live they put me on hold and talk to the doctor and said no problem they're able to accommodate us and have him be seeing that same night. I wanted to update my review of Gasow to say that their process for making appointments, checking in once you've arrived, and the whole appointment process is much much better. They are still not allowing people in the lobby and have you wait in your car, but it is improved. I've had to make three appointments this year, and all three were easy to make, I was able to call and speak to someone immediately when I arrived, and the appointments were quick without having to wait too long to see a doctor.
