“We recently had a family emergency that required me to ask for our dog to be boarded within a couple hours notice. The staff went out of their way to assure me that wouldn’t be a problem and that our dog would be taken care of, so that I could focus on our emergent situation.The following day, I said, I was going to try to make every effort to be there before closing time to pick our dog up but I would have to call at the last hour to let them know if I was going to be able to make it in time. Once again, they told me they were giving my dog extra love and attention, and he was doing fine and to just take care of what I needed to take care of, and he would be ok. If I needed to board him another night then it would be OK.Their kind words and thoughtfulness helped me during a difficult time and I greatly appreciated it.Being able to watch my dog on the webcam having a good time put my heart at rest.Thank you for being there for us.“

“We could not be happier with Halliday’s! I was always very skeptical about boarding/doggy daycare because I had a not-so-great experience while living in another state. I am so glad we decided to give Halliday’s a try. Our young dog Potato has been so ecstatic to socialize with many other dogs and our older, shy girl Porter clearly is enjoying the novelty of day care and the attention that she receives from the staff. We have always employed dog sitters when we have been away from home for various reasons but we would not hesitate to board our pups here. “We took lil chopper here because he ate some poisonous weed and was very sick, they took great care of the lil pup and 24 hours later he was back to his frisky rambunctious self.“

“My dog, Simone, and I move periodically for work and so I've had Simone at Happy Hounds on and off since 2019, among other places. By far, Happy Hounds was her favorite place, as well as the place I was most comfortable having watch her. Leaving her in their care made me at ease whether it was just for the day or for a week for vacation, to the extent that no other dog boarding/daycare place we've been to has yet to meet.We've permanently moved away this time and we will both sorely miss Happy Hounds and their fantastic management and crew.“
