“Maryland Home Pros did a great job in repairing our exterior front door. The door, about 20 years old, took great force to open and shut due to the bottom sticking on something. It also took great force to slide in and out both the deadbolt and door handle bolt. Their technician was able to solve the problem by replacing a misaligned door hinge and installing longer hinge screws which he figured out how to do only by shaving off a small portion of the wooden door hinge area. The technician was very polite and explained what he planned to do and requested our permission to proceed with his proposed fix. Another company that came out to inspect the situation before Maryland Home Pros came out would only proceed if we agreed to have the door replaced with a new one and also replace the adjacent small windows above and on either side of the door. That company’s cost estimate was astronomical compared to Maryland Home Pros’ which was very reasonable. Now that our house is getting so much older, we plan on having Maryland Home Pros return to take on a whole host of needed repairs.“

“Rob and his team (Hammis, Darwin, Erickson, Paulo, Raul, Tony, and Miguel) at Best Buy really helped us out. We moved into a house that, unbeknownst to us, had serious issues with not only basement flooding, but the actual water table. The previous owners had installed gutter systems, runoff drains, and an inadequate French drain system in attempts to stop basement flooding. Rob was able to assess right away that the basement leaks were from the water table being so high, it was submerging the basement at all times, and that water management would be necessary to avoid/stop foundational damage. Rob’s team installed a heavy duty sump pump all the way down to the water table, a drainage system around the perimeter and interior of the basement walls, performed mold remediation, and installed a full vapor barrier, plus a drain grate outside the basement. They got everything done in a day! And when we had an issue with our very old spigot getting stripped and leaking after they’d used it for mixing concrete, they listened and took care of the plumbing repairs without hassle.

Hands down recommend Best Buy to anyone who has a leaking basement. They will take care of it the right way and might even save your home!“

We contracted them to finish our basement with a bar, full bath, gym, office, and TV area and it came out exactly the way we wanted it. “I highly recommend GloRem. Eugene and his crew remodeled our home’s entire basement. We started with an unfinished basement. Eugene and his team did an amazing job. From scratch, they completed lighting, put in a full bathroom, painted, installed carpet on stairs, created a half wall, put in beautiful vinyl flooring, installed new basement doors, created windowsills, installed sump pumps and water heater, electrical panels, etc. Through this entire process, Eugene AND his crew were highly professional, respectful, and VERY knowledgeable in what they were doing. They really went the extra mile for us. For the heavy items that we ordered for our full bathroom, Eugene and his crew drove to Lowes to pick these up for us, and brought them back to our house. He made the process of finishing our basement stress-free, and we really trusted Eugene and his expertise. Eugene handled pulling all of the permits, arranged for all of the inspections with Howard County (we passed all inspections the first time around), and kept us informed of progress. Eugene did our entire job in 2 months, and the project did NOT drag out. Eugene’s electricians and plumbers were reliable, professional, and did an amazing job. Eugene would check daily and weekly on all of the details. When our basement was finished, the paint job on the walls was flawless. Multiple coats. Beautiful floors. Outstanding layout. Excellent workmanship. Amazing attention to detail. I am taking the time to write this review in appreciation for the work that Eugene did for my husband and I. We would highly recommend GloRem to anyone considering a basement remodel or for any other large construction project. We would absolutely hire GloRem and Eugene, again.“

“I was amazed at how much lint was removed from my dryer vents after having them cleaned by A-PHA Dryer Vent Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning Services Co. in Woodensburg! The technician described how fire risks and lint accumulation might affect the security of my house. My air quality has greatly improved since I scheduled cleanings for my air ducts and air conditioner vents. They also provide excellent heating installation and air conditioning services. In the future, I'll use them for dryer vent maintenance and furnace cleaning!“

“We hired DoRite Construction(Louis) to build our in ground, saltwater vinyl pool. We could not be more pleased with Louis and DoRite Construction than we are! We started this process in August when we first met with Louis (the owner) for an estimate. Louis came out as scheduled, did the estimate and gave us the numbers right there on the spot. No waiting games, no having to call him for reminders, he was on it. He gave us time to think about it and did not pressure us at all. When we made the decision to move forward, he explained the process to us, pulled all the permits, provided everything necessary (plans, drawings, etc.) so we were in the loop. He gave us an estimated start date and actually started construction a week or two ahead of schedule, which he contacted us a week prior letting us know when excavation would begin. The pool was completed within 4 weeks from start to finish. Louis always kept us up to date and informed. We were able to reach him when needed, and he responded to our questions ASAP. Customer service was superior and second to none. He is knowledgeable and involved in the entire process. His crew was on top of things and they worked so well together. We are very pleased with the outcome and look forward to many, many great memories to be created with our new pool!!“

“We used WLC for our addition and whole house remodel and I cannot say enough good things about them! It was an extensive project in which we moved an exterior basement door, did a 2 story addition that included a new kitchen and primary suite, flipped 2 staircases to make them safe, opened up 2 major walls requiring 2 large beams, updated every bathroom, added a mud room and small porch, and refinished floors and drywall to tie the new construction seamlessly with the rest of the house. Suffice to say it was a very large job!Skippy and his father Skip are incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of home construction and design. Skippy worked with our architect to come up with practical solutions to get us what we really wanted and save us money. He also has a great eye for design and editing when necessary.WLC used sub contractors just like many other builders do, but the ones they use they have worked with for years and I was just as happy with every sub contract as I was with WLC. Their concrete guys, electricians, plumbers, roofers, flooring folks, and tile guys were all professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also have Kyle who is a true jack of all trades! He also happens to be Skippy’s brother in law. So if you are looking for a family run operation with professionals you can trust look no further than WLC! There are larger operations out there that might be able to turn out a faster bid, but I’m so glad we went with WLC. I can’t imagine trusting this massive project on our house and home to anyone else!Services: Home renovations“
