“I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding care I received during my recent visit to GBMC.
I arrived at the Emergency Room on the morning of Monday, July 14, 2025, after experiencing severe, nausea, and difficulty walking without nearly falling. From the very first GBMC staff member I encountered through to my discharge on July 16, 2025, every person I interacted with was professional, compassionate, and attentive.
The team on Unit 45 was exceptional. Their care and kindness helped make a difficult time much easier, and I want to extend a special thank you to the physical therapist, who played a crucial role in helping me begin to recover from the effects of vertigo.
I was especially impressed by the new discharge room, which made the transition home much more comfortable. The heated and massage chairs were a wonderful touch, and being able to have something to eat while waiting for my ride was greatly appreciated.
This experience only reinforced what I already knew—GBMC is an excellent hospital. All three of my children were born at GBMC, so this place already holds a special meaning to me. I also want to compliment the food, which was truly above average—especially compared to what I’ve experienced at other hospitals and medical facilities.
While I still have some recovery ahead of me, I wanted to share my appreciation and recognize everyone who contributed to my care. Thank you all for your professionalism, compassion, and dedication.
