I appreciate Cephas’ patience with me asking so many questions and requests pertaining to the haircut prior to coming and even after. He is knowledgeable about the cut that was requested while considering my son’s hair shape and texture.
The setting was comfortable for me as a mother with middle school age sons in regard to appropriate music and a gaming system while waiting.

Requested style: I requested a shape up, taper for one, and shape up and shadow fade. Use the sponge for the final look.

Hair type: My sons have coily hair and they are growing it out. One has a widows peak and the other has a cow lick right in the front that requires detailed attention to maintain a straight edge across his front hair line.“

“I have been trying to get my son to go see Tony for years. Tony was a classmate. Finally got my adult son in there due to urgent need -we had a funeral the next day. Tony took us eve thru it was after hours - stayed late to get my son's hair done. My son must have liked the cut because he asked me about it again and said he wants to go back. I highly recommend this shop.“

“I started going to Mike's House of Style for the first time in July 2024. I previous had cut my own hair since I started college in 1979. I had a professional haircut before my first marriage in 1990 and my second marriage in 2020. I had back surgery in July 2024 and was unable to cut my hair any longer. My wife has massage therapy at Merrimac Court in Prince Frederick which is on the second floor above the barber shop. She convinced me to see a professional barber after I was released from the Johns Hopkins hospital in July. She took me straight to Mike's House of Style. I had my hair cut by the owner, Shawn Harrod. Shawn cut my hair into a perfect stylish fade better than anything I could have done myself at home! I look much more handsome and attractive now! Shawn is an amazing barber! He is also a very spiritual man, a proud graduate of Bowie State and a supporter of HBCU's! I love supporting my people and Black Owned Businesses.
