“I was in District Heights, Maryland to visit my sister for her birthday and also to handle some business in the DMV area. My business took longer than I thought and that put me behind schedule from getting to my next stop, my hometown of Flint, Michigan. My plan was to get a haircut there from barber that I have know for years. Now that I was stuck in DC an extra couple days I needed to get a haircut before I arrived at my next stop. One of my cousins told me to call this barbershop and ask for Sean.
I called and he said come now and you are next. I got there and within 15 minutes I was in his chair and he was working away. He was focused, meticulous, methodical, and giving all the attention he could to making sure my haircut was perfect. Toward the end of my haircut, he received a phone call and when he answered the phone, when he answered he said, “Baby we are about to be rich! Because this man is about to pay me a million dollars for this haircut!” I smiled, and then when he turned me towards the mirror….it was in fact a million dollar haircut. I wish I would’ve took a picture. But trust me he knows what he’s doing. Thank you, Kettering Barber Shop whenever I’m in the area I’m coming back“

“My whole family and several friends have been regular customers to this barber shop for several decades; so I can confidently say the negative reviews are false and defamatory, especially the ones accusing these barbers of discrimination, those are absolutely fake and defamatory reviews and Google needs to remove those & flag those peoples' accounts for fake reviews.

These guys are by far the best Barbers you could ever go to. Of course, some of the reviews complain because those reviews are young guys who want new age weirdo hairtyles; but these are classic, good quality, barbers and classic manly hairstyles; not fancy new age hairstylists. So those negative reviews are also unfair.

Great, clean location. Friendly barbers. Very talented. And the best prices you could find at a barber. Great barber tools. Very quick service.

I only have 1 complaint, and it's not even their fault, it's their customer. They have 1 regular customer, in my family, Andrew, who is a very dangerous man that loves to hit elderly woman. So since it is unfair to give them lower stars for that, I still give these guys 5 stars. More if I could. But due to that specific customer, i, and a few other former regulars, are scared to come here.“

Amal is the one who cuts my hair, and she always checks in about what I want and delivers. Recently, I have started coloring my hair, and I have been pleased with the results. She is also good at letting me know how to fix it.“
