Mike's House of Style

I started going to Mike's House of Style for the first time in July 2024. I previous had cut my own hair since I started college in 1979. I had a professional haircut before my first marriage in 1990 and my second marriage in 2020. I had back surgery in July 2024 and was unable to cut my hair any longer. My wife has massage therapy at Merrimac Court in Prince Frederick which is on the second floor above the barber shop. She convinced me to see a professional barber after I was released from the Johns Hopkins hospital in July. She took me straight to Mike's House of Style. I had my hair cut by the owner, Shawn Harrod. Shawn cut my hair into a perfect stylish fade better than anything I could have done myself at home! I look much more handsome and attractive now! Shawn is an amazing barber! He is also a very spiritual man, a proud graduate of Bowie State and a supporter of HBCU's! I love supporting my people and Black Owned Businesses. I will continue to go to Mike's House of Style for all of my haircuts!

Wanna start by saying I’m new to the area and didn’t really wanna chance trying a new barber.....I’m glad I did Otto was very professional and made me feel like my safety and comfort was his #1 priority and on top of that he provides you with first class experience and Hair Cut line up crispy and when he pulled out the shears that made my day most barbers now and days barely use their shears Hats of time House of Style Amazing experience

Friendly environment. As a mom, it’s a comfortable place for me to bring my sons bc the conversation and music are appropriate for all ages. Otto knows my sons and what we expect with their hair. Everyone is respectful and professional. Haircuts are consistent and well done each time
