“I went here for the first time to get a dress tailored. The two people I interacted with were friendly and helpful and answered questions thoroughly. I had to get the dress taken out and made bigger and I was a little worried they wouldn't have the same fabric and color but it worked out! I got the dress a week and a half later and it fit perfectly. It was about $50 which I thought was reasonable. Please note the tailor is only available in the mornings, before 1pm I believe. I also appreciate that they are open earlier than most cleaners (8am)! Quick tip about the entrance: Go to the entrance next to Starbucks and Bandit Taco, not on 16th St.“

“Ms. Kim is the sweetest woman! Her storefront may not be much to look at, but her service is impeccable. The dry-cleaning service is great, fast, and reasonable. But more importantly, Ms. Kim is the best seamstress I have ever used. She's made alterations to my wife's dresses, and my suites alike with impression precision and quality. She actually used to be a clothes designer/maker, so she is actually quite over-qualified for what she is doing. We are lucky to have her services in our neighborhood and for such a bargain. I highly recommend this place.“

“I've gone to Amax consistently for over a year and they're the best dry cleaning service in the area. I don't know why the reviews are so bad (maybe management turned over). I've only experienced absolute hospitality, flexibility, and professionalism from the Women who work here. Prices are consistent and fair, and everything comes back clean and well-handled. They also have a tailor who comes weekly to do alterations, and they do an amazing job. I've had multiple pairs of pants altered at the waist, hip, and ankle to satisfaction. I've seen others have leather/pleather worked on as well. The team is super hardworking and will take time to talk to you about more bespoke issues, like cashmere that's been shrunken or odd stains that won't come out.I don't normally leave reviews, but this place needs a rating closer to 5 stars.“

“My favorite cleaner and tailor! Even tho I have plenty of cleaners located closer to my house, I still go to Lee’s. His tailoring is top notch!For example I’m showing the shorts that I brought in as pants. I was worried if the hem was going to be visible and definitely didn’t want that. But I didn’t even have to explain this, I just brought in my pants and said I want shorts. We measured the length and I left. When I picked them up I was absolutely stunned at how well done that hem looked! It looked as if the brand itself did it. No stitch is visible on the outside and the edge is neatly hidden under a strip of fabric. Such light and delicate work, looks hand sewn.I also brought in pants to be shortened and they came out just as well done every time.And as for cleaning - I have brought in delicate silk blouses and they always came back pristine. Even the ones that had lipstick stains on them. And the pressing job always looks so good! You notice the difference when you’ve had your shirts messed up before when they add a new crease every time you bring it in. Never happens at Lee’s. Highly recommend this place!“

Sunny is very friendly and patient with understanding your requests and her work is really great and done at fair pricing. I had been looking for someone to taper my yoga pants and several places had said that they wouldn't be able to do that, but Sunny was able to figure out a solution that I am happy with. The turnaround time is extremely fast, and you'll receive a text notification when your things are ready to be picked up. World Cleaners will be my go to spot in the area for all my alteration and dry cleaning needs!“
