Linda really understands highlights, especially for south asian hair and skin tone - which is rare - and is so good! at what she does. I like to joke that Adil is like Johnny Depp from Edward Scissorhands bc that's how it is watching him work on your hair - just pure brilliance! I love the layers he gives me, so blended! Not sure why I waited so long to go back to Rive Gauche!It took one haircut by Tami and color and highlights by Sandra to make me feel human again. Perfect team, perfect color and perfect haircut. What else could a girl want? Seriously.The parking issue sucks.... but they are more than worth it. So, I went to the right place and am not planning to go anywhere else. I had totally forgotten how it feels to get up in the morning and look at yourself in the mirror and still have a perfect hairdo,So yes, Sandra and Tami are definitely the Hair Whisperers!“
“If I had to sum it up in one word: Wow!I had a full bleach out, fashion color, and cut with Kristy and Ruby. Both were so incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I felt comfortable and heard through the whole process.Ruby was able to fix a terrible Great Clips cut (I know, I know) and she took my hair history and upkeep preferences into account while explaining the cutting/coloring process in great detail. She even mixed up a take-home color and threw in a product to help keep my hair color vibrant. What an icon. #RubyforPresidentKristy was friendly and considerate throughout the whole process, which was a little over 7 hours, and made sure I had snacks. Bleaching a whole head of hair is no joke! Kristy's fashion color placement was great, and delivered the "kisses of pink" I was looking for without overpowering the overall gray look. She's a great stylist!I've been looking for a local salon for quite some time, and I'm so glad to have found The LABoratory. They keep the highest level of professionalism and precision without sacrificing kindness in the process.“
“Went to Denisse for a blowout and hair mask treatment and she was AMAZING ! I have long and thick hair with extensions and we did a hydrating mask that left my hair soft and silky. Then she blew it out and curled it beautifully ! Having extensions makes it’s hard to find someone who knows how to blow them out and style them with care. Denisse is 10/10. She immediately knew what would look good on me and gave me a color that looks wonderfully natural, radiant, and perfect on my skin tone. Molly invested time into building trust and obtaining an actual understanding of what I wanted at the same time applying thorough technical expertise to what my hair neeeeeded.Y'all.My hair was ragged. I knew it needed a chop.She knew it needed a chop. Even though we had agreed on that before I was in the chair, she double checked I was okay before the first big cut and kept checking in on me the whole time. I've never known hair consent like this. Also, she managed to keep a lot of length, and it looks more even, fuller, and 100% healthier. Already booked my next appointment.“

“The experience I received was awesome. My daughter and I went to this establishment today last minute looking for someone to hook our heads up. Well I came across this place it’s like a gem in a side cave. I love the service the atmosphere was beautiful the energy was on a different level Afro greeted me and KIA sladeeeeeee the hell out my curly Afro wen I say I didn’t know my hair had grew so much it was amazing. The young lady who washed my hair felt like her fingers was dancing in my head. And Mr. Yahya put them clippers to my neck and have my neck great definition. Max understands the natural tendencies of each kind of hair (mine is fine), and he does an amazing job cutting and styling it to play to the natural strengths. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. my friend and I observed how collaborative the staff is. It’s like an harmonious atmosphere where everyone is diligent in making sure that every area is well stocked and fully functional to enhance each guest experience. I plan to return when I visit Maryland again.“
