The shops front office staff was polite and very patient and the overall theme of the shop is artistic but also very clean and sanitary I recommend for any first time tattoo appointments. Both my artist Gilda and the receptionist went over maintenance how it would feel, how to take care of with written pre printed instructions. Not to mention Gilda had my tattoo ready and when it was done it was exactly what I had in mind.

Definitely will be making an appointment in the future for a sleeve.“

“I absolutely have to give a shout-out to Jesse at Old Town Ink & Art Gallery! He was extremely helpful in working out a gift certificate for a family member. He made it very easy and approachable to plan and schedule a tattoo idea. My family member wanted it to be known: He was so very personable and kind and very dedicated to making sure that I was comfortable and happy with the tattoo and he kept reworking it a few times to size it accordingly for me and get the colors right and then he added stuff as I went through the ideas I had. He did a carnation and then I decided not to use it and he changed it and printed out several options. Then we got to it and he def had a light and gentle and skilled hand with the detailing. I think he's wonderful. He was so adaptable and flexible to whenever I could get to him. He was great! Absolutely recommend!!!“

“First off, MST is super responsive to emails and their Instagram messages, where other shops sometimes are not.

I've had two tattoos with Faka, a few years apart, and both experiences were great. I love the feel of the shop - they have a huge door they open on nice days and it's bright and airy in there.

Faka is super attentive to the ideas you have in your brain while also considering the location and actual execution of them to ensure it looks right on your body. They also offer touch ups within a certain time period to make sure you love your piece.

My first one was on my back and pretty easy to sit through, but my second one was on my ribs and required a few quick breaks. Faka was super understanding.

My rib piece was a sentimental one and Faka focused on keeping the nature of my pop's handwriting true to his style. Thanks so much, I'll always recommend MST to my friends!“

“I highly recommend Tattoo Culture. I had a design in mind that I thought about for years and this was the year I finally decided to get it. I had followed Tattoo Culture for a while on Instagram and decided that Isa’s style would be fitting for the design I wanted due to its thin and sharp lines. When I showed up Isa and Ghost were friendly and welcoming. Isa asked if it was my first tattoo and proceeded to offer me options for designs and sizes so that I would feel comfortable with my decision. Prior to coming in I had felt anxious about where to place the tattoo on my body. She made a suggestion that made sense to me and was more my style. I am grateful for her expertise in helping me finalize every decision I made. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire session including giving me a break to stretch and have a snack. She was very clean and hygienic throughout the entire session. Overall Isa was kind, caring, personable, and positive. I will be sure to go back if I want more work done in the future.“

“Everything went well. This has been a long time coming this review and Imani is a phenomenal tattoo artist. From the time I set my consultation and had to reschedule because I got sick to the last ink put on my skin, she's been a great communicator. If the space was too cold, she adjusted it. If I was too hot or needed a break, we adjusted and took a break. I felt completely at ease within her space and wasn't worried. We kept the tattoo realistic in terms of ideas so it didn't get it of hand because of my chaotic ideas and it was great because my tattoo came together beautifully. Being able to put together a vision in a collaborative setting feels great when you're looking for an artist to just listen to you and keep it real with you. She paid attention to my skin as she tattooed as well as didn't tattoo if I wasn't healed properly to avoid causing me pain. I have no raised areas where she tattooed me and she was gentle where I was previously scarred from a different artist. I highly recommend setting up time to talk to Imani about your tattoo wants. She will listen and be honest with you if what you want is possible. This is her craft and you matter so she takes her time and everyone deserves that.“
