After having a bad experience (just inquiring about getting our first tattoo) we called here and asked if they were first time tattoo friendly and the guy on the phone sounded calm and said they are happy to take everyone and are patient.We got to the shop and had them draw up our designs. We tweaked it a few times and never were we made to feel like it was too much. We settled on what we wanted and are thrilled to have found this place.Front desk lady was amazing. Got my first ever tattoo here with Israel (bladytattoos), and it was an amazing experience. Really easy communication with Alix to set up an appointment (and I even wrote down the time wrong, and they were still super flexible with me). Israel was super kind, attentive, and patient. It was a small, quick tattoo, but I didn't feel rushed at all. Totally obsessed with how it came out and grateful for his work!

I was visiting the DC area with friends for a weekend. We went through multiple calls to several different tattoo shops before we stumbled upon Second Son Tattoo. They were super accommodating and had great communication about availability and pricing for the tattoos that our entire group wanted. We let them know when we were arriving at the shop and then we received awesome customer service! They were patient and worked through each of our tattoo designs with care. Everyone loved their tattoos and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a tattoo shop! If you are local or just visiting, you should definitely go to this location to get tatted!
