Faka, Danny, Carly, Adam, Liz & Hannah work so well together, it feels like they are truly a work family :)! They have always made me feel extremely welcomed and very, very safe. As a queer person, I have always felt safe and accepted there. Danny works very hard to make sure the shop is a comfortable environment. Faka is the artist I normally see, his American Traditional work is simply beautiful. I’ve recommended several people to Carly based on the style of tattoo they want and everyone has been extremely pleased with the results! This is the only shop that I trust in the DMV, and I am so happy to say that I love MST!! I couldn’t recommend this place more!!“

“After having a bad experience (just inquiring about getting our first tattoo) we called here and asked if they were first time tattoo friendly and the guy on the phone sounded calm and said they are happy to take everyone and are patient.We got to the shop and had them draw up our designs. We tweaked it a few times and never were we made to feel like it was too much. We settled on what we wanted and are thrilled to have found this place.Front desk lady was amazing. Her attitude was great. She talked with us and made us feel comfortable. Our tattoo guy was kind and patient. “New favorite spot for sure! First time in this shop but I’ve been getting tattoos from Ryan and Billy for years! This is a really calm, clean, bright and happy space. It’s real easy to get there from the metro too. All the artists here have years and years of experience and are truly professionals in their craft. He was able to make a tweak to one of his flash designs and was very meticulous about design placement in relation to my other pieces on the other arm. Linework and shading was spot on and it came out better than I imagined.“
