“Aside from some punctuality issues due to the snow, their rates are very competitive and the bedside manner of care seems to be genuine and professional. My dog needed 2 incisors removed from what I thought was only 1. Someone needs to recommend volunteers here because they are short staffed. Anyway so far so good when it comes to the service my dog received. Recommended. I’ll be back and hopefully they can continue doing good work on my beloved pet.“

“My little dog LOVES going to this daycare! We live a mile away and when she senses we're walking here, she gets a bounce in her step. And when we walk inside, she squeals with joy like a piglet to see all her friends. The staff are good to her and she loves them. She comes home very tired from all the socializing. “Onyx loves Dogtopia!! He knows when we're on our way to dogtopia. He gets so excited and he practically jumps out of his leash, running to go into the dog daycare. He's active non-stop. He loves his doggy friends he has made and he is playing non-stop while he's at daycare. I love that they have options to serve your dog food. “Capital Kitty takes wonderful care of my big cat with a bigger personality! At Capital Kitty, each cat gets its own cozy little kennel. The staff rotates through the cats to let them out individually to explore, play, and get extra attention throughout the day. They send daily photos and report cards, perfect for an anxious parent like me. The staff is caring, attentive, and communicative. My cat always comes home healthy and happy. Our newly adopted dog had some issues with demand barking, not being able to relax, etc. Through training sessions with Susie we learned a number of strategies and commands (and fun games) that helped our pup settle in to her new home! “Really love central barks and my dog is really happy there. The only critique is the return policy. I wish there was a return fee not a new fee. My dog was gone for 2 months due to personal reasons and once returning he was considered new. All the trainers know him so he isn’t new to the the location.“

“Today we took our dog Luna to the veterinarian, Dr. Logan Murray, and we had such a great experience. My husband and I live in Georgetown, and we had trouble finding a good vet for a long time — but we finally found DuPont Veterinary Clinic, and they were amazing.

Dr. Logan Murray is a genuinely kind and caring person. He treated Luna so gently and patiently, and Luna was very well-behaved thanks to how comfortable he made her feel. The examination was very thorough, and while discussing which vaccines Luna needed, he was extremely honest. If something wasn’t necessary for her, he said so and never tried to push extra services or take our money. That level of honesty really means a lot to us.

The assistants working there were also amazing — very professional, attentive, and kind. The clinic was spotless and very clean. This was our first time visiting, and we’re pretty sure this will be our regular vet from now on. Even the treats they gave Luna were great!

“I took my 12 month Yorkie to Dr. D for her first visit. Before I went. I read the reviews and some of them were horrible. I went in with an open mind and boy I’m glad I did. They gave me the best experience. The front desk staff were very nice, knowledgeable able, and welcoming. We went to the back to meet the Doctor and he was welcoming and nice. John the lead trainer has given me very helpful behavioral and training tips when asked, and they also recently started working on skills with the dogs in daycare. “We love Mount Vernon Animal Hospital so much! They always take care of Marina as if she’s their own cat . They are always on top of her shots and annual checkups . Erica and Kelly are an amazing concierge team with beautiful smiles and enthusiasm! Keefe is very gentle with Marina especially when she doesn’t like having her nails trimmed! This office is always clean and friendly !“

“My dog has severe separation anxiety, and this is the only place we’ve ever boarded her where she hasn’t destroyed everything she owns. She actually gets really excited when we pull in the driveway, and she realizes where she’s going; then she jumps out of the car so she can run to Mr. Whiteleather. He takes excellent care of her, and she absolutely loves him. I’m happy because Mr. Whiteleather is kind and the price is right. But mostly we continue coming because our dog loves it so much. Be prepared to show copies of your vet records each time and to pay with cash/check.“

“This place is pretty awesome. Very friendly staff, always straightforward and quick. Doctor calls you himself after looking over your animal to discuss what was done and any questions you may have. And honestly vets are expensive. I'm not sure whether this one is a good price or not, but I'll pay for what I get here.“
