Back in March, HHC performed a complete HVAC overhaul at our home. Our old system, which consisted of two AC units, two hydronic air handlers, and an oil boiler, was 25 years old and costly to maintain. HHC owner John Hooks came to our home, inspected the system, and made several recommendations. After discussion we decided to gut everything and go with two new Bosch heat pump systems and discard the oil system entirely. HHC’s crew were at the house the better part of a week completing the work, and when they were done everything was perfect. They even disconnected and removed the outdoor oil tank and whole-house attic fan. I am happy to report that after two weeks of intense summer heat we couldn’t possibly be more comfortable. What a difference our new equipment has made. I 100% recommend Hometown for your HVAC service and equipment needs.
Eric Canales inspected the damage to my roof and gave me an estimate. He also supplied and attached a large exterior tarp on the roof for temporary protection and a large plastic one in the interior where the leak had done considerable damage. Although he ultimately did not do the work on the roof because his estimate at the time was higher than I could afford, I was very satisfied with his efficiency and professionalism in this limited service.

Paquin came highly recommended for the construction of our new home and they did not disappoint. I interviewed 5 builders and Paquin really stood out. My initial conversation was with Adam Goertemiller, General manager, whose genuine interest in what it was that I was trying to accomplish got my attention right away. He invested a lot of time to make sure he fully understood what we wanted, what we did not want, and he provided a thorough review of their construction process as he wanted to be sure that it aligned with our expectations. From there, we had an opportunity to meet with owner Brent Paquin and others on his team to dig a little deeper, which I appreciated since meeting the owner was not an option in initial discussions with 3 of the other 4 company’s.
Of the five builders I met with, some were more expensive and some less expensive, but it was the professional approach, friendliness of the team, commitment to quality, and easy process that was the deciding factors for us.
Also notable was our experience with Tim Shoemaker, Construction Superintendent and his team. Real professionals. Every time we visited the site, they were eager to greet us and address any questions or concerns that we had. If we had a concern, it was handled immediately both prior to completion and well after. Phil Greenwood was especially helpful. And we were particularly impressed with how clean the job site was from day one through to completion. Jess Johnson, Design Specialist and Gabe Stockhausen, Project Manager were very accommodating too. They did a nice job managing our delivery schedule, change orders, and patiently addressing my numerous questions, etc.
Our overall experience with Paquin was outstanding and I know now why they came highly recommended by so many others. I too would recommend Paquin to anyone looking for a high-quality custom or spec home.

Nelson and his team of painters were courteous, respectful of our property, and meticulous in their execution of painting our townhouse and shutters. Place looks brand new! Very pleased!
Don McNicholas of Aquadon Pond Services, who enlarged and enhanced the pond in my back garden, along with its waterfall and filters, in late March 2008, has provided ongoing pond maintenance and upgrades, as well as other landscape-beautification services.The pond-supply company that had recommended Don and his small crew assured me that, although Aquadon would probably not reply to any calls in the extremely busy spring season, Don’s excellent work would be worth the wait. When I called Don in the summer, he answered the phone, discussed options for my pond, and -- as planned – initiated the job. The work went smoothly, within budget and on schedule, and Don and crew showed exemplary dedication and enthusiasm for their work, and even went the extra mile.As the owner of a small, agile company, Don of Aquadon provides the consummate personal touch in tailoring his work to meet customer needs. He manages to save the customer money by doing what larger companies assign to a large crew with expensive machinery. Whenever I had a question or difficulty, Don resolved the issue quickly. For the past 14 years, he has ensured that my pond is clean with healthy fish and plants. I receive numerous compliments on my back yard, and I highly recommend Aquadon Pond Services as an outstanding service provider.
