Is it normal for a nutritionists office to require a referral from my heath insurance directly(united healthcare) even though I have a referral for them from my PCP? I have been going back and forth with The Digestive Health Center on Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie at The Tate Center. I called them 3 times last week leaving messages and they called back after the 3rd voicemail to leave me a voicemail stating that “you need a referral to be seen” even though I stated that I have one on all 3 voicemails. I finally got them on the phone today and they are refusing to see me without a referral from my insurance provider even though the insurance listed on the referral...read full review
