After several years and numerous doctors telling me, basically, “Yes, your right leg is definitely swollen (as each doctor presses a thumb into my ankle). But, never any recommended treatment plan or suggestions as to what to do next. FINALLY, after urging from my concerned boyfriend, I found the best vascular doctor. Dr. Lahhanpal suspected and ran an ultrasound test to determine that I had a compressed Iliac vein. Following surgery to implant a stent in the vein, I am finally seeing the swelling go down in my leg. And the black and blue toes and lumpy skin from the years of pooling blood in my leg has receded as well. Thank you Dr. Lahhanpal and your entire team.
Just had my annual visit and it was very professional! They were very friendly, explained what they were doing, and it was all done quickly. Then a discussion with the doctor and out the door until next year. Great visit with a great staff!
My mother, suffers from aphasia from a stroke, was terrified going in. But once inside everyone made her feel comfortable and welcomed. From the front desk to the doctor everyone in between was excellent explaining what was going on. They took their time with her. I really appreciated the experience.
