Capitals women's care billing is atrocious. DO NOT PAY any bill they send you unless you check twice with your insurance company. My wife and I have received multiple bills that were already paid by the insurance. When contacting Capital women’s care billing department they tried to argue about it. I had to file claims with my insurance company, over a year to resolve. In the end they said “oh must have been a glitch on our end.” No apology for the amount of stress and confusion they caused, no further explanation as to why or what happened. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. BEWARE of billing.
Worst care 0/0 do not recommend. Saw Dr. Heyman at Frederick location dismissed my symptoms quickly ran through options before saying to follow up with my primary. Had I known treatment options weren’t in their scope of care before paying $50 copay for 15 mins appointment to end up having to follow back up with my primary. Rude and dismissive.
My review is: consider another practice, especially if having a child. After a massive error post delivery resulting in an emergency transfer to Hopkins - my wife is ok. But, a 100% avoidable error got us there. Your on-call Dr can treat you after having started their day 36 hrs prior. You deserve to put yourself in a position with better care and I wouldn’t wish for anyone to risk that. To top this off, we’ve reached out to CWC trying to take an amicable approach, and they have thus far failed to respond in any way. Which, aligns with the level of care we received. Be careful!
