“I had such an amazing experience! It was my first time visiting. Upon entry, the front desk receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The space was so inviting and relaxing. My specialist, Rochelle, was ready for me right away. She explained everything at every moment. She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable, checking in every now and again to make sure I was okay. I got the Water Me Experience with a facial and a silk press as an add-on. The head spa was amazing! The products she used felt really great on my hair and scalp. Her massage techniques were so soothing, I almost fell asleep. The facial was a really nice touch. She also trimmed my hair prior to my silk press. I love the end result! I can’t wait to come back!“

I like it because it's nice and clean without being so fancy that the money is going to the branding rather than the quality of service. I also like that they will give folks a cut for free if they are unemployed but trying to get a job. That's the kind of local, community-based company I like to support. And maybe my husband looked a little scruffy when he went the first time, but they asked him if that was why he was coming in because he's trying to find a job and mentioned they offer that service, and I thought that was very gracious because then people don't feel uncomfortable having to ask for charity. Also, their coffee is amazing.“

It's a small studio above a hair salon which is decorated in a peaceful palette of aqua and mauve. A hidden gem. Sandra really knows her stuff. You never want to put your face in the hands of someone who doesn't know what they're doing, and I felt complete confidence in her. My skin has not felt this good in years. My wife and I were traveling with two teenagers, and although our originally requested room with two queen beds was unavailable, Mary at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to accommodate us by providing a complimentary additional room, ensuring the kids had a comfortable place to sleep. She was also exceptionally kind and took the time to explain everything clearly. The rooms are on the smaller side but thoughtfully designed and well-appointed. One note for travelers: the showers feature frosted glass and offer limited privacy, which may be a consideration if you're sharing a room with someone you're not entirely comfortable with. We dined at Clay and Fire, where the coffee was outstanding and the breakfast delicious--though slightly on the pricey side. The service, however, was excellent. Overall, this is a great hotel in a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again.“
