“This place is a gem! We had never boarded our little dog before, because I couldn’t bear to think of her being in a cage. When I found Happy Dog online and realized they don’t cage them, we went there to check it out. We were impressed with the free-range concept and large play areas, both indoor and outdoor. They let us have a free “tryout “ morning to see if our dog adjusted well before we boarded her overnight. She did well, and our 2-night boarding was a big success! So glad to have found this place!“

“im back with another bc i had an exceptionally pleasant experience today with Bri at Pawesome Palace. i have recently relocated to another state after being a 3+year client of Bri's with my mini goldendoodle. i was running behind schedule today due to some unexpected circumstances & i communicated to Bri what was going on & that i would cancel bc i didnt wanna hold her up but to my very very pleasant surprise, Bri said that she would wait for us. now understand that Bri KNOWSSSSSSS i only bring my dog to her so coming from out of state to literally get my dog groomed by her was no surprise obviously lol i was running 1hour 30mins behind and Bri waited and was very understanding ! she groomed my dog perfectly, as always and he just looks sooooo sooooo cute ! idk this might be her best work lol she took her time, no rushing although i was late, she STILL did her BIG ONE !! im so so so sad to have to leave Bri but understand that for as long as i can, my dog will be coming to Bri lol im not saying this for people to think she will accomodate them for being late bc respecting peoples business should always be a priority which is why although i was late, i was still ready to abide by her policy. but to say, she knew how important this was to me & she was accomodating ! thats what i call exceptional customer service & loyalty ! i recommend Bri 1000000000x over and over again. “Brought our 5 month old puppy here for grooming and had a fantastic experience. We brought him somewhere else in town prior and he came home reactive and aggressive. He came home from Happy Dog his happy and playful self! Plus looks super cute with his puppy cut, clean, and smells great. Will be back and would highly recommend!“

“Living with a fearful, anxious, and reactive dog is exhausting! A dog that is scared of noises, smells, people, dogs, shadows, and everything else, has no quality of life. Medications help but they do not change behavior. We've been on that long, sometimes draining journey with our Aussie-Lab mix pup, Freyja. We searched for awhile for a place that offered positive, fear-free, training for our dog in the DMV area and came across the Kranky Knine (KK9) classes at the Coventry School for Dogs. Liz, Emily and Julia have been a lifeline!
We have taken 3 KK9 classes since Feb 2026. Even from the first meeting time, we started seeing glimpses of the dog we know she can be and that those tiny improvements gave us so much hope. As time progressed, a moment that really stands out was when Freyja actually tried to get closer to the dogs and their pawents. She didn't meet them, but she wanted to. We have also noticed real improvements in the hallway and elevator (one of our biggest daily battles). She's starting to move away from scary monsters (aka dogs and people) more easily, and her outbursts aren't as intense or frequent as before. That said, it's still a struggle. And the elevator is still a major challenge. Our neighbors are understandably tired of her reactivity, and we feel that pressure every day.
But through all of it, the KK9 team has been in our corner. Liz has been a wonderful advocate for our dog. Liz took the time to write a detailed note to our behavioral vet after we finished our first KK9 class, which helped shape Freyja's treatment plan in a meaningful way. And the ongoing support from Liz, Emily, and Julia, has made all the difference.
We know recovery is a long road, but thanks to this team, we're finally walking it with more confidence and less fear. Our journey with a reactive dog has become easier with these kind people who helped us move forward, one small victory at a time. We are eternally grateful!!!“

“Had an amazing experience with Erin! From start to finish, everything went so smoothly. She was patient, kind, and took great care of my little Shih Tzu Flora. The one-on-one attention made such a difference, and my pup came home looking beautiful, happy, and relaxed. “No one will help the stray cat I found all the other hospitals asked for money first this hospital took in my cat immediately and help me apply for financing and their prices were 50 less then all the hospitals i called . Very compassionate dr and staff. Highly recommend them.“

“It took me a little over a year to find a good dog groomer back when I moved here in 2017. These guys are fantastic! They make my bichon look great regardless of how much of a dirty scribble he is when I bring him in. They are also quick, the turn around time is unbelievable (I have 2 dogs, the bichon and a chihuahua, and they generally take 1.5 hours tops). I suggest calling ahead to see how busy they are, but I’ve never had to wait more until the next day to bring my dudes in. Highly recommend this place!“

“My rescue terrier usually panics around clippers, so grooming appointments are stressful for both of us. The groomer here took a few minutes just letting him settle before starting anything, which already felt different from other places I’ve tried. They worked slowly and avoided overwhelming him with loud equipment all at once. His coat looked neat and natural afterward without being cut too short. He also didn’t spend the rest of the day hiding, which honestly felt like the biggest success.“

“Dr. Woodson is a wonderful veterinarian. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding of the budget concerns and was able to work with me to provide care for my dog. Her love for animals truly shines bright. And because of her compassion and understanding and willingness to allow me to do my part, Bane was able to make a full recovery for the most part. He will have scars but they do not stop him from running around the yard barking, snuggling with his family.“

“Brought my ragdoll cat here after trying to deal with matting on my own for weeks. I was nervous because cats can get overwhelmed quickly, but the groomer moved slowly and kept the environment surprisingly calm. They explained beforehand that some sections might need shorter trimming, which helped manage my expectations. Her fur ended up looking much healthier and softer afterward. The front desk was busy during pickup, though the employees still stayed polite and answered everyone’s questions patiently.“

“Unfortunately, I am not reviewing the services rendered by this establishment, but rather the beautiful humanity of the people who work here.

A little less than a year ago, my rental car was broken into; the window was smashed and my backpack was stolen. The police told me that they had been following the suspect all night and that they would call me with any updates.

The next morning, Jason, from Happy Tails, found me on social media and messaged me saying that he had found my backpack and all of my missing items in the parking lot in front of the store. I was thrilled!

I stopped by Happy Tails Pet Grooming the following morning to pick everything up. Jason and another gentleman were welcoming and apologetic upon hearing what happened. They returned everything that went missing and asked for nothing in return for their trouble and their kindness.

This event, although stressful and upsetting in the beginning, ended with an act of kindness that I will never forget. Thank you, Jason!“

“At first I was kinda wary of them cause of some of the reviews. I tend to be over protective about my fur babies and only seek the best for them. My worry was quickly put aside when I entered, they made sure to communicate with me about step by step instructions on my fur babies medication and they answer all my questions and reassured me when I worried about their health. I’m not huge on leaving reviews but i felt that they were not given the credit they deserve. Yes, maybe it’s a tad bet more expensive, but let’s face it you pay for what you get. I STAND by my choice of picking them as my go to place for my babies. I completely trust them. I do advise you to ask about everything if your as worried as I am. I ask for a detailed receipt and always ask for a detailed health report and they ALWAYS help me. Some people I’ve noticed receive what they get. You can’t be RUDE to these lady’s and expect them to happily answer your questions. They are always sweet and caring and always give love to both of my dogs. I honestly can’t believe I was scared of being my dogs here cause of people lying and making a bias story that makes them seem as if they are in the right. I will honestly be forever grateful that they care a lot about easing my worries and caring for my pups health.“
