When I stepped in the door, the concierges at the front desk welcomed me warmly and took me to the lounge (how does it smell so wonderful in there??), where I drank some tea and let go of the past week. “I was visiting DC with a friend and we decided to book a couples massage for 90 minutes at Tusuva, and it ended up being one of the best parts of our trip. The weather was weirdly cold for May, so the hot stones and hot towels felt amazing, honestly exactly what we needed. I didn't realize how much tension I was carrying until halfway through when I completely zoned out. We had also been walking all over the city, so the foot massage part was a lifesaver. My feet were so sore before and afterward I felt like I could actually keep exploring without complaining every five minutes.

It also looked like the spa is in the process of remodeling, but everything was super clean and you can tell it's going to be really nice and modern once it's finished. The whole place had a really calm, welcoming vibe.

I see a real difference in my skin even if I only get a facial quarterly. She told me to avoid my oil cleanser because I had congestion on my skin, and now a lot of it is going away since I received her advice. I'm also not one to talk a lot during facials because I like to basically fall asleep and relax lol and Anisa was completely comfortable with that.“
