“I highly recommend Pineda Stonework.

We contracted with Pineda Stonework to remove the old paver walkway and step that had settled several inches, and install new pavers, step, and adjust the grade. They did an excellent job. They put down new gravel and fixed the border in place with cement. The new pavers and step look great.

They also pulled out old firepit pavers, moved the installation 4 feet from the house, and installed new gravel and pavers.

Additionally, Pineda stone resurfaced cement blocks for the basement walk-up and dug a trench for PVC pipe to direct water away from the walk-up (Edin, owner, caught this problem and recommended the solution).

The team was professional, courteous, and paid close attention to detail. They take pride in their workmanship. After completing the job, they did a thorough cleanup. Communication was excellent, and Edin was flexible with minor changes.“

“I've shopped around for a company to build my deck and patio for over a year and I have to say Maryland Deck Builders was the right company for the job. My project was not small by any means with a large deck, stone patio with a firepit and seating area. Nelson and team did a great job explaining the process, meeting with me multiple times to go over options and even during the project when we hit a snag with some of the stone colors with the distributer, Nelson came out to my house with alternatives to review with me.
Nelson was also very reasonable when we had to make some adjustments and wasn't focused on nickel-and-diming
us but rather making sure we were satisfied with the project.

“Put in a fantastic looking stamped concrete patio for our backyard, in a really reasonable timeframe, both in terms of when they started and how long it took to finish; they came every morning for several mornings to make progress while working around the weather. They also laid down some grass seed around the patio, and have even offered to plant additional grass seed in the fall later on since the current seed is having a little bit of trouble coming up in the super heat of Maryland Julys. Manny is a really genuine and great guy, and very easy to work with. Not to mention that they were one of the cheaper quotes out of the five quotes we got. Highest marks possible!“

“Came here looking for some shrubs and evergreen trees for my yard after visiting many, many other landscape stores. I am glad I did...they still had a very good selection in mid September and the price was excellent compared to the others. One of the workers helped us decide what to buy and done. I will come here for my future purchases as the big box stores just don't have the expertise, knowledge and experience of a gardener like Evergreen Gene's.“

“I worked with SBC to build our new patio and screened in porch. It was a great result and we are very happy with the team. Justin started the process off by helping us visualize everything with 3D renderings. This part was very helpful in getting us to sign on with them. We had several bids from other companies that didn't work as hard at this phase. After that, there was a wait for the permits to come through. Stay on top of that and keep in communcation it can take a while. It did in our case. Once we got the permits, Our project manager JC took over. He was really exceptional and took us from breaking ground to finished product with great care. There were many times were decisions had to be made that would fine tune the project to meet actualy site conditions. At every step, JC and I would discuss things so that we were on the same page. In the end, we have a great new porch that very much matches our original home build. It looks as though it was planned from the beginning when the house was built. Their team was also professional. They worked very hard and it shows. I highly recommened people talk to SBC if they are considering a project. The pictures here show some of the parts of the porch without the fixtures but i'll update it later with a more recent photo.“

We selected Continental Landscaping because we really liked the installations he and his teams had done on the displays at the Stone Store. We purchased our natural bluestone veneer from a New York quarry so it is unique, but not necessarily 'consistent' from piece to piece, and Tony's crew did an amazing job installing the veneer on the front porch and back patio walls, and then they did an equally amazing job on the porch and back patio floors. The Continental crew made adjustments and produced an excellent finish. The landscaping included prep of the planting beds and planting sod in the rest of the yard. My regrets are that we did not call Continental in to first install the downspout drain lines.“
