“Wow, this place exceeded expectations. I booked an appointment for waist length knotless braids first thing in the morning. When I arrived, the shop owner greeted me and immediately sat me in my chair, and started separating my hair. About 5 minutes in to the appointment two other young ladies entered and started working on my hair. The owner quoted 4hrs for the install and actually was finished with my hair in 3 1/2 hours. The staff was friendly, attentive, I felt welcomed and the price was fair for what I paid. I highly recommend“

“Whitney did a phenomenal job on my hair. I got on StyleSeat after my greys were driving me to distraction and picked someone by geographic region as opposed to actual reviews because my commute is atrocious. Whitney popped up. She's conveniently located on Branch Avenue less than 10 minutes from the metro where I park to go into DC everyday. I made the appointment and confirmed online. I arrived on time and she offered to let me sit in the kitchen to finish the food I'd brought. She did have a head in her chair at the time, but I wasn't over surprised. It was a cold, rainy Thursday evening. She got me in quickly and shampooed and conditioned me herself to sit under the dryer (of course) and then she quickly wrapped one client before me and got me in the chair. All-in-all I was out in under 2-1/2 hours and I consider that a complete win. My hair was LAID and I absolutely loved my curls. Whitney does an excellent job with natural hair. I don't need a whole silk press because my hair, while curly, is fine (3c/4a) but she still did a good job of determining the heat setting from my iron (I always bring my own now) and was willing to use my heat protectant, which I appreciated. 10/10“
