The stylists are skilled and efficient, with appointments being completed in a timely manner. Shanise, the owner, is one of the stylists and provides excellent service. Other stylists specialize in color, nails, lashes, and eyebrows. The salon has a great ambiance with music playing, making it a one-stop shop for various beauty services. The atmosphere is warm, with a vibe similar to the salons of the past, where conversations, laughs, and a girlfriend feel are part of the experience. The salon is spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches like wine and snacks that make clients feel cared for. The owner is hands-on, taking care of her clients directly, answering calls, writing appointments in her appointment book, handing out wine, and chatting with everyone, spreading positive energy throughout the room. Clients often leave with flawless hair and a sense of community and hospitality. The salon also offers services like eyelash extensions and braiding, making it a true one-stop shop for beauty needs.
I have been frequenting Salon Amour for nearly 12 years now. I’m mainly a short haircut girlie. However Shanise does a variety of styles. I’ve worn my hair in bobs, mid length weaves, longer bobs and page boys. Shanise is talented and provides a full service experience in the salon. In addition to outstanding hair care, the space is well maintained and all the customers and stylists are kind. The salon is mellow and beyond small talk they may play some low music. During your service you can enjoy a light snack and beverages including tea and coffee. I’m always satisfied with my hair and I love the way I’m treated as a longstanding customer.

From the moment you walk in, the environment is warm, welcoming, and well-organized. The salon itself is clean, well-maintained, and clearly run with intention and professionalism.
Shanise is exceptional. She takes her time, listens, and most importantly—she prioritizes the health of my hair above everything else. That’s not something you find everywhere. She’s thoughtful in her approach, makes recommendations that actually make sense for long-term hair care, and never pushes anything unnecessary.

I found Shaunice on TikTok last month and it was the best decision I have ever made. She is a true master at her craft! I have not seen anyone in a long time that has been able to style short hair the way she does! I have now become a loyal customer of Shaunice!
