“Wow, this place exceeded expectations. I booked an appointment for waist length knotless braids first thing in the morning. When I arrived, the shop owner greeted me and immediately sat me in my chair, and started separating my hair. About 5 minutes in to the appointment two other young ladies entered and started working on my hair. The owner quoted 4hrs for the install and actually was finished with my hair in 3 1/2 hours. The staff was friendly, attentive, I felt welcomed and the price was fair for what I paid. I highly recommend“

“After being quarantined since early March I was in desperate need of a silk press! I searched for a stylist via Instagram and stumbled across Kendra's Hairgasym studio! I sent Kendra a direct message and she promptly responded. I was skeptical as this would be a new stylist for me! To my delight Kendra washed, conditioned and pressed my hair down to the root! My hair was fluffy like feathers when I left. Kendra was also professional and conversational. She is serious about her reputation and business. They were very even and neat as well. My hair is a little thin on the top and when I asked her to make the braids fuller, she had me come right back and she added braids to ensure that I was satisfied. First due to my long time stylist moving to Kentucky and second due to a serious case of Ling HAUL Covid which involved hospitalizations,and a nursing home. Then 2 years of in home care. I decided my hair would be my first step in coming back to living again.I searched my local area reviews and Mimi at the Hair Cuttery in Market Place, Waldorf, MD was my best bet and that turned out to be just right.I arrived at her salon on time for my appointment and she was ready and waiting for me. I had already cut five inches off and told her my story. She was ready for the task at hand and I was ready for her advice and talent.
