25 Northern Ave, Boston“I would highly recommend Bostons Best Dog Walkers for pet sitting. Especially Matisse - if you want your dog to be treated like family then definitely request Matisse, he is AMAZING, treated our dog so well and our dog absolutely loved him. I truly can’t say enough how thankful I was for how great he was to our baby.
We were in Boston for the evening and needed a last minute Pet sitter to sit with our dog. You can book a “hotel stay” with BBDW where they will come to your hotel for 3 hours and sit with your dog while you go out. Most hotels have a policy that you can’t leave your dog alone, so this was a saving grace as we knew our dog would cry and disturb other guests if we left him by himself.
I was originally really nervous about this as we have never hired a sitter or left our dog with someone who isn’t family. So I requested a meet and greet where we met our sitter Matisse in the afternoon very briefly beforehand and this made me feel so much better! This isn’t included or necessary but if you’re nervous like me it was worth it. You also get a journal and photo updates on their website portal of what they did together the whole time. We asked that they just stay in the room and not go out since we walked him beforehand and that worked out well.
Aaron was also very responsive and communicated well throughout the process. I texted him from the number on Google the night before, which was really last minute and he made it all happen. We had confirmation of booking that night and a sitter arranged the next day. Overall we had a really good experience with bostons best dog walkers for our trip to Boston and I would definitely use them again.“

391 Medford St, Somerville“As a first time dog owner, I was anxious about where to start with training. When I heard about Zen Dog Training and saw they had a puppy class, I knew it was the right fit for my new puppy and me. Pete has been our instructor and he's been great! He's super patient with answering questions and gives helpful feedback when we show him what we've been practicing. I was definitely overwhelmed having a new puppy, but it was reassuring to know that each week if I worked on the homework with my puppy that we'd improve. My puppy benefited from being able to play with other puppies her age each week. I've also found having access to the Zen Dog Training Puppy Course resources online to be really helpful especially when I needed a reminder of what was covered in class (the videos, comics, and blog posts are easy to understand). I definitely would recommend Zen Dog Training! We have our last class this week and I'm going to miss it when it's over.“

43 May St, Cambridge“I would recommend Good Dog Boston to anyone! Our trainer Jeff was patient, kind, and extremely helpful when working with us and our dog Miley. Miley struggles with reactivity triggered by other dogs and living in downtown Boston makes avoiding other dogs nearly impossible. Jeff provided a tiered program which laid the ground work for Miley's basic obedience and built up to working through her reactivity issues. We have already seen huge improvement in Miley's behavior and all thanks goes to Good Dog Boston!
Also shoutout to Jeff's furry assistants: Danny, Halo, & Doctor for being the good-est boys and helping their friend Miley with her manners!
Truly a 5 star experience!“

Centre St, Saugus“I just called them to ask about how their services work. The owner, Mike, answered the phone and asked what problem I was trying to solve with the dog. He then proceeded to give me all kinds of suggestions on what I could do. He spoke to me for a half hour! I learned more about dogs in that half hour than I could have hoped for in a class. And he never once tried to push his service on me. if he’s that good just answering the phone, I can’t imagine how good his training is. I walked away impressed and just had to give him a review. ??“

He feels every inch for lumps bumps etc. He rotates their legs paws etc checking for limitation or pain. Orders age appropriate labs and is not an alarmist but discusses approaches with you. When it was time for us to say goodbye to our 4 th fur baby he was very supportive, accommodating and kind. I love that my dogs always saw the same vet who knew them well.we will Always be grateful to him and the BEST vet assistant ever Maria“

256 Marginal St BLDG #14, Boston“When my dog and I moved to Boston last summer, one of my top priorities was finding a place she could feel safe, happy, and at home while I was at work — and we found that at Harbor Hounds. She gets so excited every time I drop her off, and comes home tired, happy, and clearly well cared for. The staff is wonderful and It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. Thank you for all you do!“

When they open the door for her to come in our dog runs in and doesn’t look back! Go Play was also super helpful and supportive when we were going through behavioral issues with our dog. 75 Linden St.20 & No.60, 20 & No.60, Waltham“Petco Vaccination clinic, it was way better than when we went to a Vetco Clinic. A lot cheaper and the folks were really AWESOME at the Waltham store.
Vetco, different story. They messed my dog up and I'm still waiting on what you all are going to do. You say he has Lyme after a blood test, then, you give him meds and shots, i paid a lot of money. You schedule a follow up for 10 days later for what you said was his final Lyme shot but i went there for nothing because you were closed that day. You get that? You have me come back on a day your closed lol. So, i had to go back the next day, when i got there i was told i can't see the vet today. Well, before i left i seen the SO-CALLED VET LOL. Now i was told he doesn't have lyme and doesn't need the final shot. I'm really mad at this point. How do you not know what is going on? I still don't know if he has it or not because i can't afford to have him retested cause i have no money left. Ive called them and they won't talk with me and never call me back. What are you hiding? Now i know why my best friend Wesly was treated so bad and for something he didn't have. They don't care, if they did, we wouldn't have been treated like that and they would have at the least call me.
2 employees in the store part of the business heard my mouth and the commotion and after i left they came to me and confirmed how bad they are there. They told me they would never bring their pets there. Never going back nor is anyone i know ever going back after my poor pup was handled like a piece of meat for them to make money. I will never let this go and will keep telling everyone, until they make it right. I'm at the dog parks several times a day telling everyone. They won't even contact me.
I used my disability money for that you know. You don't love animals, and you robbed me, a disabled person. So sad!
Have a blessed day, and my dog Wesley, forgives you.
I DON'T

Waltham“We have been working with Cara for basic training for our very playful, energetic and friendly 3 month old German Shorthaired Pointer. She has been amazing! Within one session with Cara, we found ourselves with a more manageable puppy. Our puppy also loves working with Cara. Cara really cares about what she does and it definitely shows! She arrives on time and knows exactly what to do. She’s also available to field any questions or troubleshoot any situations for 2 weeks after your session. We highly recommend her to anyone!“

10 Chandler St, Boston“Formerly known as "Corndog" by the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), we adopted Arthur Cornelius on June 29th, 2024. Arthur was surrendered to the ARL with two of his family members at the end of April. Arthur tried to wait patiently for his turn to find his furever home, but it was tough because he loves being with his people. When we met Arthur, it was obvious he was well cared for and how much the ARL staff and volunteers loved him. Despite being in the shelter for about two months, Arthur was friendly and trusting. Today, Arthur is living his best life with his new parents going on lots of adventures. The ARL staff and volunteers are kind, compassionate, and dedicated. In 2023, they facilitated 3,173 adoptions including cats, dogs, small animals like bunnies, and even some livestock! And overall, they helped around 21,000 animals in lots of other ways. Thank you for giving Arthur a second chance to live his best life. I highly recommend the ARL!“

He always goes above and beyond to answer questions and he genuinely cares about his craft. I have recommended him to many people and the consensus is the same, HE IS THE BEST. These services are worth every penny, as our dogs are well behaved and we are informed and responsible dog owners, all due to Matt!“

“Jen cared for my 11 year old hound mutt Biscuit during my 4 day vacation. She sent photos and texts. It allowed me to know the big guy was happy. She’ll be the first person I call before my next vacation!“
