A year ago, I got my first cat from ARL - they were so good about pairing me with a cat that they thought would be good for a first time cat owner, and my kitty has been perfect. We recently went back to get a second kitty, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal.
They were not shy about telling me what cats they thought may not do well with my resident cat, they were patient with me as I wanted to meet all the cats, they answered the one million questions I had about introducing a new cat into a home with a resident cat. I recently took my cat to get spayed. After the examination turns out my cat had difficulty breathing and they canceled the surgery. I got a call to come pick her up and take her to the ER to get x rays done. I’m so glad that they were thorough and honest. The vet and staff were incredibly nice they even called the next day to ask for an update which was honestly so sweet and it meant a lot.
Highly recommend Animal Rescue League of Boston to anyone looking to expand their family with a new pet!! This is Luna (formerly Labubu), she’s our perfect wild child which we were properly warned about, but we couldn’t be happier and she fits right into our crazy little family. The rescue was absolutely amazing with relaying all information regarding her life before us, making sure she was FULLY up to date with the vet, and best of all sent us home with EVERYTHING we needed for her, bed, toys, treats, leash, collar etc. even enough food to last the first couple days.
10/10 best rescue experience. You can tell they really care about the animals in their care and… read full review
