1914 Centre St, West Roxbury“I can't recommend Dr. Glidden enough. I have a back injury, and had no form of pain relief until I started seeing her. She does various treatments that not only relieve my pain, but are also correcting my spine. In the short amount of time I've been seeing her, I've been able to walk better, and have noticed less pain throughout my day. She's also helped me understand my injury more, and I just feel like it's a blessing that I ended up going here. If you are in pain you should come here. You will thank yourself later!“

I was nervous going into PT as someone who’s suffered from chronic back pain but the progress I’ve felt even in this month of work is really encouraging. The exercises and motions are explained clearly and I feel confident in what I’m doing while being coached with encouraging words. I leave each session feeling better and looking forward to the next. I expected to feel like these were appointments I’d have to drag myself to but I feel enthusiastic about each time I go. The facility is also very nice and clean with professional equipment and everything you need. I couldn’t recommend it more for anyone who might need a little help.“

660 Beacon St, Boston“Over last 30 years of 14 joint surgeries I have had over a dozen PTs and alas am something of a connoisseur. The three I have worked with at JV Wayland Mass. are all expert and clinically savvy but the latest, Brian Davis, is at the very top: practical, imaginative, resourceful, realistic, just full of ideas and even minor change suggestions. Really smart and clinically informed and grounded.“

He listened intently as I explained what happened leading up to the vertigo episode, then he thoroughly explained the Epley Maneuver and demonstrated the positions he would put me through. He was very gently in his approach, being mindful of my dizziness. I was very thankful his diagnosis and treatment allowed me to be relieved of BPPV in one visit.“

1620 Beacon St, Brookline“Today, I had my first professional bike fit with Dr. Brendan Connor at Wellness in Motion. I’m a 40-year-old beginner cyclist with limited hip flexibility and a sedentary office job, so I wanted to make sure my setup supported both comfort and long-term progress. Dr. Connor began by testing my flexibility and muscle function, both generally and in relation to cycling. He took time to explain what he was doing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Once we moved to the bike, we made a series of adjustments—saddle height, fore-aft position, tilt, foot placement, stance width, handlebar angle, shifter height, and shifter reach depth. He even removed and rewrapped my bar tape to get everything just right. By the end of the session, my pedaling felt smoother, my hips moved more freely, and my hands carried noticeably less weight. Dr. Connor noted that some remaining pressure might be due to core strength, which made sense given my fitness level. He plans to send me a short exercise routine to help address that. Overall, I left the session feeling much more comfortable and confident on the bike. The fitting was professional, educational, and well worth it.“

He kindly took the time to get my knee ready for surgery and because of him I was able to have the surgery! After my surgery, he committed himself to getting me back on track and now I have excellent mobility only a few weeks after my surgery! The whole team at Bay State is wonderful! Ben is an expert at making sure we have everything for my insurance and he always fits me in to the schedule. Jocelyn is an excellent clinical manager and always checks in on me. I couldn't think of a better place to help me reach my PT goals!“

19 Wexford St, Needham“My kids and I have been going here for several months (multiple days per week). My 1:1 training sessions have been excellent. Working with Adam has really motivated me to get back into shape for all the sports I like to play (primarily tennis). My kids are teens and Pure Performance has amazing programs for young athletes who want to do off field/court training with trainers who have experience working with this cohort. No matter what time of day I’m at the gym (I’m writing this in July), there are high school and college athletes working hard with their friends— it’s a great vibe. Highly recommended!“

290 Vanderbilt Ave #5, Norwood“I’ve had a great experience at Jump Start Physical Therapy and can’t recommend them enough. Connor and Ryan are fantastic—they actually take the time to get to know you as a person and explain everything in a way that makes sense. I never felt like just another appointment on the calendar; I felt heard and supported from day one.
The atmosphere in the office is always friendly and upbeat. Plus, the logistics are seamless. I appreciated being able to email Connor directly with questions or schedule changes instead of playing phone tag. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll get expert care in a fun, stress-free environment, this is it.“

191 Blue Hills Pkwy, Milton“Bethia Nivens has been my PT since August when I came in with a partial teat in my rotator cuff. Over time, she has given me good instruction on what to do at home with instruction sheets and visuals using an app. The exercises have been varied while I am in office and explanations for each exercise were given. Once, I was ready for further work on improving my reach, she helped my arm move better into position and strength. She does give confidence and assurance that the strength training will work and over time so that I can do it at home. My plan is to continue so that I will not need surgery and will become stronger because of her excellent guidance. Thank you so much Bethia!“
