“Our family has had a truly wonderful experience at this music school. My son James has grown tremendously thanks to the dedication and hard work of his teacher, Mr. Liubomyr. He has provided thoughtful guidance and unwavering support in preparing my son for both orchestra and competitions. His attention to detail, high standards, and constant encoura gement have helped my son develop strong technical skills, confidence, and a deep love for music.

Ms. Tanya’s music theory class is excellent—well structured, engaging, and highly effective in building a solid musical foundation. The summer camp organized by Ms. Tanya and Mr. Liubomyr is also outstanding, offering an inspiring and well-organized environment for young musicians. Mr. Liubomyr is also a faculty member at the Cremona International Music Academy, and the opportunity for students to participate in the camp in Cremona is especially exciting.

I also highly recommend the adult chamber music program. It provides a rare and welcoming opportunity for adult musicians to play in ensembles and continue growing. I personally had a wonderful time playing in a trio alongside other passionate and talented adult musicians.

Overall, this school offers exceptional teaching, a supportive community, and meaningful opportunities for both students and adults. We feel very fortunate to be part of it.“

“It's heartwarming to read these glowing reviews of ATMA because Nicole, Carl and all the wonderful teachers at ATMA truly deserve these genuine words of affirmation!

My daughter who is shy and introverted has flourished under the tutelage of Emily and now Ryann. She takes voice and ukulele lessons and we could not be happier! It has been such a pleasure to see my daughter build musical skills and her confidence in a safe, supportive, nourishing and caring environment. I can hardly believe that she's performed at 3 recitals with self assurance! 😁😁

ATMA in Hindi means soul which feels so fitting because Nicole and Carl, have succeeded in creating a school that overflows with soul! ✨ I am always uplifted when I step into ATMA because of its welcoming, colorful, vibrant, friendly and inviting spirit! Teachers and students alike are smiling and happy! 😁😁

If you're looking for a safe, nurturing, kind, sensitive and compassionate school for your children to build their musical talents in, look no further! I recommend the ATMA family with no reservations and much enthusiasm! I'll always wish them well because they are the salt of the earth 🧂🌎

I would birth more children just so I could enroll them in ATMA for music lessons! 😁😁“

“No review could fully capture my praise for Olga and the work she has done with my son on violin. From the moment they met two years ago, he felt immediately at ease — she has a rare gift for connecting with children quickly and making them feel welcomed.

Despite her incredible talent as a professional musician, she is somehow able to meet children where they are and make complex concepts more approachable. Olga has helped my son gain confidence and progress to learn increasingly challenging rhythms, techniques and songs. She is a wonderful teacher and human being in general, and we look forward to seeing her at each lesson. Thank you, Olga!“

Flutistry Boston Musical Instruments And Teachers

“Well. I do not even know how to begin this review, because I truly lack the proper words.

I have spent the past four months searching for my forever flute. I am a collegiate flutist at UMKC Conservatory who aims to play professionally in some manner for the rest of my life, and I desperately needed a professional-grade instrument to suit my needs and musical journey.

Throughout this search, I worked closely with Megan McCafferty at Flutistry. Our first interaction began with a phone call. It was at this point that I knew Megan was someone special and truly cared about my journey in finding my forever instrument. Our call proceeded wonderfully- Megan didn't just ask what instruments or brands I was interested in. She wanted to know more about me as a person and a player- what is my dream? What am I searching for in my sound and music? What are my favorite qualities I hear that I want to maintain in my sound? What do I want to change or add? We discussed so many personal aspects of my flute journey, and how we can best find a fit to accommodate that and open up my world of sound and musicality.

I probably received over 4-5 different trials of instruments and over a dozen flutes/headjoints throughout the past few months. All completely FREE. I was always completely transparent about what I liked or didn't like with Megan, and she handled everything flawlessly. We would also discuss what was working/what wasn't, and move from there. Megan's communication was impeccable, and her drive to truly make this an interpersonal and special journey was apparent in every email or call we shared.

All in all, we worked from the ground up to finally find my forever flute, which turned out to be a decently custom instrument. It actually wasn't an instrument that Flutistry currently had or sold- so you know what Megan did? She made it happen anyway. She personally found a way to secure my forever flute for me.

Megan's professionalism, communication, and quickness with service are unmatched. What is priceless, however, is her heart and the way she wears it on her sleeve. I am so blessed to be working with Megan and to have shared that experience together. I would recommend Megan to anyone and everyone. She is a beautiful soul and deserves to have the opportunity to continue to chase her dreams and grow in her career. Sending so much love to Megan and the Flutistry team from Kansas City, Missouri, and the UMKC Conservatory!

Megan- thank you for everything. It will not be forgotten. <3“

“I truly can’t say enough en pointe wonderful things about the Boston Ballet Adult Foundations class. While I’m sure all of the instructors are exceptional, my experience with Julia—both from a pedagogical and inclusivity standpoint—has been nothing short of top-notch. She is clearly a beautifully trained dancer, but what truly sets her apart is the way she meets each student exactly where they are and helps them grow from there.

Learning something new as an adult can feel intimidating, but Julia has a rare ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and included—no small feat. She breaks down steps with clarity and patience, creating a class environment that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. You never feel like you’re just going through the motions; instead, you feel encouraged to plié into the learning process with confidence.

Most importantly, Julia genuinely cares—not just about correct technique, but about her students, their progress, and cultivating a real love for the art of ballet. Her passion is contagious, and it turns each class into something you look forward to all week.

I’m incredibly grateful for her teaching and so glad I took the leap and signed up. If you’re reading this because you’re on the fence, take it as your cue to jeté—I highly recommend giving it a try. ?“

Boston Bass Lessons Unlimited Musical Instruments And Teachers

“Ben at Boston Bass Lessons has been an awesome teacher and a big reason I’ve been able to level up my bass playing. He’s helped me fill in a lot of gaps in my understanding — especially around theory — and has a really chill, approachable way of explaining things that just makes stuff click.

Every lesson feels super focused on what I need at the time, whether it's technique, timing, or getting more confident with improvisation. I always leave our sessions feeling motivated and like I’ve made progress.

If you're looking to get better at bass with someone who knows their stuff, I definitely recommend Ben at Boston Bass Lessons.“

“I just started taking piano lessons again. And chose this school because their staff and prices are phenomenal. The intake was very easy and the executive director Greg was extremely friendly and helpful with getting me paired with an instructor within a few days.

My first lesson two nights ago with instructor Esther Moreno changed my perspective on multiple things with the piano and already has excited me to play piano again every single day.

I am extremely happy that I decided to begin lessons here for $91 for 45 minutes, which is enough time for an intermediate to advanced student to acquire a great lesson and a lot of knowledge.

I believe that they offer lessons for many other instruments as well, and many of their adult students get involved within their orchestra.

I am very much looking forward to attending regularly and would recommend this school to any other musician looking to improve their technique.“

“Our children have been taking lessons at Music 101 for 16 years (guitar, piano, & voice). Every minute has been a wonderful experience. The teachers are knowledgeable and patient. They have excellent teaching methods. Tanya, Steven and Michelle have always been so very helpful and understanding. They feel like family. Last night was our last of 15 recitals with Music 101 and it was bittersweet. We are so proud that both of our kids have learned so much there and have chosen to pursue music as a career (Music Ed and Music Therapy). Music 101 gave them a passion for music and it will live forever in their hearts.“

“I take lessons with Sienna at Cambridge Piano Lessons, and I have had a phenomenal experience as an adult trying to get back into learning piano and taking lessons. Sienna is an absolute genius. She has a brilliant way of explaining music and how to play the notes on the page. She challenges me and provides feedback that helps me to learn more about the foundation of the music. She also provides explanations in music theory (without going too much in the weeds!) which allows me to understand the basis/foundations of the music that I am playing. I feel like I have definitely improved and am getting the attention that I need to advance my skills.“

“I enrolled my daughter in the indoor family class (0-4) when she had just turned 2 years-old until now at 3 years and 3 months old. We are currently taking a break just to try out some different activities for her (not enough hours in the weekend to do everything), but I couldn’t recommend CMCJP enough. It’s obvious that Christy, the program’s founder, has a background in early childhood music education, and that she carefully curates her curriculum to cultivate musical development (i.e. learning different rhythmic patterns, songs in minor vs. major keys), music appreciation, and, most of all, fun for the kids and families! As opposed to other less thoughtful children’s music classes, she doesn’t just play a guitar while the kids shake some instruments. She really thinks about what skills she can teach through her song choices, the instruments she chooses to have the kids play with, and the body motions she incorporates with almost all her songs (clapping, dancing, etc.). As a former dancer, I particularly appreciate the importance she places on movement with most of her songs, as well as tactile props, such as scarves, accordion ropes, and, always a kid-favorite, the PARACHUTE.

In short, if you want to expose your child to a high-quality early childhood activity, I highly recommend CMCJP. We will be signing back up in the future, hopefully for some outdoor classes in the summer!“

“As a guitar player it's great to have nearby, they have a descent variety of strings. And a shout to my fellow guitar players this is one of the very few or only places around that stock single guitar strings. They'll hand you the box and let you fish through it for what you need. Gotta keep a stash of those high E strings handy“
