Had a great time shopping for a good used electric guitar for our daughter. Spent more than an hour on Saturday morning playing different guitars and chatting with Freddy. Got a lovely guitar at a decent price and learned a lot along the way.
Came in on a random weekday not expecting to do anything other than look around. Came out with the first guitar I’ve ever bought on my own, with a new lead on where to gig and helpful advice on what pedals and tuners to get in the future. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and I got a great deal on a wonderful guitar. Thanks Wood & Strings!!
I brought a banjo here to have some railroad spikes put on the 5th string, and they did a great job with that as well as a restring/setup from nylgut > steel. Very friendly people, enjoyable to talk to. They have quite a few interesting used/vintage banjos around, always interesting to see what’s in the shop.
