“I had multiple, outstanding customer-service interactions throughout my time working with the Flying Locksmiths. When my wife and I bought our first home, one of our first orders of business was getting our locks re-keyed. I sent an online inquiry through their website on a Saturday evening and the company's President, Mike Brown, got back to me within minutes to set up an appointment. The technician (Josh) who came to re-key our locks was punctual, polite, and very knowledgeable. Before long at all, all of our locks were re-keyed and the house was beginning to feel more like our own.

Unfortunately, when I was packing up to leave, I realized that a door to our porch could not stay locked (this was NOT a door that Josh worked on; just a defective lock on a door that the previous owner never bothered to fix). It was after hours by this point for the company but I actually got Josh on the phone and he tried walking me through locking the door up. When that didn't work, I wound up back on the phone with Mike Brown, who also tried understanding the problem and made sure I got another appointment on the books for as soon as I was available. Mike also had me send him pictures of the lock and door at issue to see if he could figure out how to get the thing locked (this didn't pan out but the effort did not go unnoticed).

At my next appointment, another technician (Mark, I believe), worked on the suspect door for a while and confirmed that the lock had failed and required replacement. He got the door locked for me and did not charge me for this second appointment (which, again, was not brought about by any negligence on the company's part). I later got a quote to replace this other lock, and, because it's fairly exotic, we've declined to replace it just yet because of everything else we have going on with the house. However, when the time comes to replace that lock, I won't consider going anywhere other than this company. Every field representative I spoke to was knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at every turn with their work product and customer service.“
