“My orthopedic surgeon recommended acupuncture after I tore some ligaments in my shoulder. I was willing to do anything to feel better but I was very skeptical at first. I do not believe in any of the hippy juju stuff. I was in the military for nearly a decade and I had a variety of issues including PTSD, anxiety, plantar fasciitis, herniated disc, shin splints, IBS, migraines, TMJ, torn labrum and bicep tendon. I have seen Ilana one time per week for the last four months and I feel like a different person. I’ve seen over a dozen doctors, surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists, and psychiatrists but nothing has ever worked. Until I started acupuncture with Ilana. I won’t pretend to understand the science but what I do know is how amazing I feel. If you’re an athlete with shin splints, experience an injury, have depression that doesn’t responded to medication, you can benefit from acupuncture in some way. “This is only the 2nd google review I’ve ever written, but I felt strongly that I had to let people know how great Lydian is. I came in for a problem with my neck and some knee problems that I had been experiencing for about 10 years. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and having gone through PT for my knee, didn’t think there was much that could be done to improve it, but I couldn’t have been more wrong!We initially focused on my neck and knee, and general alignment. After a handful of sessions it was obvious that it had made a huge difference. For the first time in years I could run > 1 mile without pain. After my great experience with my knee, I went back to focus on my TMJ, which I’ve had since I was a child. They were also able to vastly improve the tightness/pain I experienced in my jaw! A problem I didn’t think I would be able to solve without massive oral surgery! I was really shocked at how much of a difference the treatments made.All of the staff and chiropractors are fantastic. So friendly and so helpful. I worked with Dr. Andrade, Dr. McQuillen, and Dr. Knutson at various points and had wonderful experiences with all of them. It was also very straightforward for me to submit the invoices to my health insurance for reimbursement.If you’re on the fence, Lydian changed my view of how great my body could feel. “I've been seeing Jessica for over a year for acupuncture and recently started trying her facial microneedling services -- I've had two sessions so far and am hooked!Jessica is not only professional but also incredibly attentive; she walks me through every step so I know exactly what's happening and what to expect next. The microneedling is gentle (feels a bit similar to a hydrafacial) and we've been building on intensity of the treatment in each session so it hasn't been overwhelming or scary at all.Jessica's facial treatments are a fantastic alternative to what you'd get at a traditional spa.
