Just wanted to take a moment to share my experience at Bisou. The salon itself is spotless. There are numerous treats bars, candies, teas, waters, and you name it available for clients. The staff is super welcoming and my stylist Taylor is by far the best hairstylist I’ve ever had! I always get a great cut. And her ability to mix color for my ever changing hair is outstanding! Five stars for Taylor and Melissa.

Awesome experience with these guys through Mass Save. I appreciated the level of detail and pride they took in doing a quality install. I was impressed at how clean and neat everything was after tons of insulation work and a fully blown attic.

Really excellent service and workmanship, great family business. Drew Anderson came out quickly to quote a job involving running new electrical circuits, cabinetry rework and a range install. Drew was very transparent about pricing and answered all my questions as to how he would do the job. His time estimate for the work was also spot on. Drew and his father (who is a master electrician) came on a Sunday and were in and out in 3 and a half hours, including a thorough cleaning the work area. Highly recommended!

NYB has an amazing faculty, warm atmosphere, and top-notch training. We love that the school does not compete, but rather focusses on young dancer's growth and development as an artist, with wonderful performance opportunities. The climate is positive and supportive. My daughter loves her teachers, classes, and performances! It is her second home. I highly recommend checking out their Nutcracker performance each December!

Kiara is an amazing soul! I was lucky enough to have her do my hair for my wedding day in August 2024. It was a close call seeing as she was due that summer to give birth to her first born, I thought selfishly she would not be able to travel, Man did I think wrong! I just had my 2nd appointment at Expressions with Lina, and needed to take the time to write a review because my hair and experience were just that good. I am a city girl that has come to the burbs (love/hate), but finding city quality without having to cross the bridge is my mission, and exressions nails it. SUMMARY:Product wise they are super high end (back bar and for sale) which is a must, but not necessarily hard to find. The second part, which Lina and her co-owner both nail, is continuing education without being in the city, and pairing that with a solid hair background and history so that the trends are achievable but the integrity of your hair is maintained! MY EXPERIENCE: I came to Lina with 12 week grown out roots (I'm a level 5 and have a level 10 color block in the front), and needed a new hairdresser after my regular had a long term injury. She took the project on, but most importantly treated every piece of hair on my head like it was in the front. I had a band from leaving my roots for so long, and during my 2nd appointment she and her co-owner lovingly corrected it, even though Lina had a flight to catch for a familly emergency, they worked together and made my hair absolutely perfect. They also provided honest feedback about a longterm plan for my hair while achieving exactly what I wanted in the meantime. I couldn't be more pleased and I am so happy to have one less errand to run in the city so I can spend time complaining about the suburbs!

I went to Laschi Salon! And it was such a great experience! I got an eyebrow wax and lash lift with Kenzie! She knows what she is doing! Very professional always asking how I am feeling during the waxing and lash lifts! The finishing touches were wonderful! If you want a wax or want to get a lash lift/ tint book with miss kenzie!

I've seen 3 barbers at Bell's and they are all friendly and give good cuts. Prices are reasonable. They do appointments or walk-ins. What else do you want from a barber shop?
Tim is a great barber. He’s always full of energy and makes good conversation while giving a great cut. I’ve been coming here for years. He discounted my last cut and beard trim because he said the beard trim wasn’t too involved. Great barber with good integrity.
I bring my two young sons to get their haircut with Ramon, and he is absolutely fantastic. He is so patient and kind with them, and gives the best haircut by FAR. My husband also goes to Ramon and loves him. He is a very talented barber and probably one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. Can't recommend him enough.
This has been the only place I've brought my son to consistently and I don't plan on changing barbers anytime soon! Allison has been doing my sons hair for a couple years now. Started going to Ciao Bella Nails when I moved to Reading mid-2024 and have never looked back! I've definitely found my go-to nail spot. Super accessible right in the middle of downtown, by the CVS. It's a clean, simple space. Love the ladies here, they are all so friendly and sweet (shoutout to my girl, My, who always does my nails!)
Prices are affordable on average for a really good long-lasting dip powder manicure. I only get solid colors on natural nails, no special designs or anything. But my nails are strong, are able to grow really long and last 3-4 weeks, no problem! Even at times when a nail or 2 break, they can add a little extension to fix and match your other nails.
Also, it's really easy to schedule appointments in advance, that's always how each appt. ends so you're good and set for next time you need a mani/pedi.
Overall, it's clear that everyone that goes here loves it and has been going here for the longest time.

Great pedicure! My husband and I have been getting a pedicure here for a little while and we love it. They take their time with exfoliating, hot towels, hot stone, etc and the price is unbeatable. The space is very clean.
Just left feeling so good about my hair, and myself! I went to Sophia for a cut and color, she DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I got a perfect slightly angled bob, with a dark purple/brown tint, it was a custom made color that worked perfectly for me. On another note, the salon was spotless, and everyone was so welcoming. I’ve been seeing Jen now for the past couple of visits and I’m booked out until March (she’s that good)! I get a Wispy Angel Eye fill every two weeks. We hired TKD Construction to replace our roof, windows, front porch, back deck, front and back doors, and siding to our house. Tom was receptive to all our needs. His response to our questions was timely and provided insight to our questions. The workers were professional and respectful. We look forward to our retirement in the house.
The entire Our House team is amazing, I knew it was going to be a good fit from the initial consultation. Steve knows what he knows (and what he doesn't stating he'll get back to you - which he actually does), knows he's got a strong team behind him (he's collected the best of best from years in the business and he'll tell you so - but he's not saying it in a way that comes across rude or a hard sell, he's just stating a fact) and everything supports that! After living in our house for 10 years I knew the kitchen could be better, I just didn't know how. I made it clear to Steve that I would need the options and associated cost laid out so we could make an informed decision, we knew the scope creep possibilities could be endless! Steve assigned us to Amy (the visionary and Alex whisperer) and Alex (the engineer, pro CAD user bringing Amy's visions to life) and from there we were off to the races. We ended up taking down a wall and removing the chimney, which led to moving heating, electrical, and some plumbing to the upper floors; we removed two windows and a set of French doors, replaced by one big window and a single door to the back deck. A BIG project, estimated to take 4-6 months, and they came in right at the 5 month mark! Another key selling point is they are familiar with and took care of the entire permitting process - which for anyone who lives in Somerville knows, is no easy task in our city. It was an explicit criteria I had as we were seeking bids. Reid was our project manager, he was on site almost every day and absolutely amazing in terms of addressing any questions. Pat was our safety officer, but also a PM of sorts - he made sure there was limited dust, and overall everything went smoothly because of his attention to detail. When there was a mishap with the dumpster and our relatively new paved driveway, Pat declared, "No dumpster!", they removed trash manually every evening and fixed the pavers at the end of the project. Kevin is a MASTER carpenter, super kind, smart, and generous with his time. When he asked me how I wanted the crown molding in a weird doorway alcove, I told him I had no idea! He walked me thru the options, was patient with all my questions, and shared his opinion what would look best. It's gorgeous. The best example, is we saved our unique door and window trim to incorporate into the new window & door. No one believes me when I say the new kitchen window trim is actually comprised of 6-8 pieces of trim! It's beautiful and a masterpiece! (Also Kevin and team listen to great music and would be awesome karaoke partners!) Brian (plumber), Wayne (HVAC), Joe (electrician) - also amazing. Answered all of my questions, their teams are very courteous and clean - no one entered the house without introducing themselves. And a shout out to Paige, the designer, who saved us countless hours by narrowing down options! We are in love with our countertops. But the biggest compliment comes from friends and family when they see the outcome - they all day the same thing (aside from its amazingly beautiful) it looks like it was meant to be! Thanks to Paige we were able to update & make our kitchen more function, without losing the period feel of the house which is now more open concept. Communication is key, and aside from the workmanship and skill of Steve and the entire Our House team, the fact that they listen and work WITH you is what makes them stand out. As other reviewers have stated, you get what you pay for. This was not the lowest bid, but what we got in terms of process management and importantly the END RESULT was well worth it. We are saving up for our next Our House project!!

I have called several tree services I the past to get estimates on removing two large trees. The owner Jonathan from AA Tree Service came out and gave me an estimate. He is so kind and professional. He had an opening in his schedule and called me and asked if he could come out a few days earlier to remove my trees. I was extremely happy with the tree removal! I would highly recommend them for any work that you would need done. The prices were also very reasonable where I hired him immediately. Other tree services, their prices were so high I would have never been able to afford removing my trees and they were starting to have termites, so naturally it was something I really needed to have done. Then recently, I had a serious neck injury that a local hospital simply threw pain medication at & it helped ZERO for the following 3 days. One appointment with Dr. Tierney and it immediately calmed down my bodies inflammation response & movement has been almost completely restored in a few appointments.

To start off with I have to say the doctors, vet techs, and door greeters are great. There is a lot of staff and a few I assume are administrative. The new office is very attractive. After reading some of the reviews I can see that some of the cons are unfair because in any practice of medicine there are protocols and to make a diagnosis you do need to perform test to rule out other probable causes and many people do not understand that. I brought my dog to the clinic and was satisfied with the care. I came only because it wasn't corporate, and the Middlesex Animal Hospital closed, and its great DMV referred me. I do believe the care is superior to corporate care BUT the costs are extremely high, but I guess if you want high end service you must pay high end prices. If you are a senior and on a fixed income this is not the place for you. To sum it up, docs, techs and door greeters are very friendly and caring. If you are on social security and a fixed income this place is not for you. I was lucky enough to return to my original vet because he reopened his practice, and he has an exceptional reputation around my area and pricing for those financially constrained is affordable.

I am an old client of Adrienne's. I was on a monthly visit plan and sometimes l went 2 times a month. Adrienne always worked on EVERY spot on my body. I have moved to Florida 12 years ago, and miss those great hands of Adrienne!! No one like her here!!! Luckily, l have had the pleasure of seeing her a few times, for a body alignment, when l was back home for visits. I wish l could find someone, somewhat comparable to her here in Florida! Reached out to Mark on a Wednesday morning in absolute agony from my trap to the base of my skull. Mark was gracious enough to squeeze me in that day. 1st day saw some relief by the 2nd day in a row and leaving that appointment I had pretty much gained full movement of my neck and full strength back in my arm again. Highly recommend Mark and his practice, you will not regret it.
