Kaceli Dental Associates has changed my mind about going to the dentist. I used to dread going to the dentist after several bad experiences in the past, but I have had the most wonderful experiences at Kaceli Dental. The office staff is helpful, super friendly and knowledgeable (really, they are amazing!). The hygienists and Dr. Kaceli herself are so friendly and competent you hardly feel like you are having anything done at all and the time in the chair passes effortlessly and without any discomfort. I am so thrilled with the experiences I have had at Kaceli Dental that I have been recommending them to anyone and everyone. I’ve been going to Lori for years, and I will only go to her for injections. With something as important medically and aesthetically as your face, you should always go to the best and Lori is. She has not only extensive training and knowledge including current knowledge, but natural talent which sets her apart. She will never overfill and has a real eye for facial balance. She is also honest with treatment goals, and will truly recommend the best treatment for her clients. I can also say I’ve never gotten a filler bump, and as a large bruiser myself, very seldom a slight bruise. She helped me before a job interview and left 0 bruises, thank you Lori. I have built several higher end custom homes and have worked with a few different installers in the 20 years that I have been building. Many are ok, but Benizio and his team were excellent. He is very knowledgable, detail oriented and professional. Our project included a large kitchen, pantry, bar area and six bathrooms, and we are extremely happy with the result. Jen Deluca was so helpful and prompt in getting me a quote and the whole process was indeed and easy one. My stone was ready in two weeks as anticipated and Jose Pena of the Waltham branch office called me to arrange for pick up. Everyone involved was so polite and eager for my business. It is difficult to find a stylist of Cris' magnitude, not only in how wonderful she can be professionally speaking but in the connection between client-stylist. For more than a year CRIS has kept my hair exactly the way I like it. She has taken care of every detail in terms of shape, color and texture. He has always given me the best care recommendations and especially every time I have wanted to change something. Every time I visit the salon she does ozone treatments for nutrition, silkiness and more shine in my hair. The room is super divine, excellent music, Cris is the best! I have received millions of compliments on my hair. She is high class!

Christopher is incredibly talented in everything to do with hair. He fixes other people's hair disasters. He is exemplary at both color, including highlights, and his cuts with all types of hair. Mine personally, is curly. Chris is very chill and not intimidating. His experience goes back years including runway.

L Hair Boutique is a private, elegant salon in Newton Center. Lana's expertise in cutting, coloring and blowdrying hair is exceptional. She is meticulous, creative and very talented. Lana does the best blowdrys I have ever had because they are more than just a blowdry. She styles hair to make her clients feel glamorous and beautiful! And I love the experience in the salon. I had the pleasure of working with Hanna for the first time today. While I was making the haircut appointment, I shared my concern with Hanna: Being 8 months pregnant, I would very much like to avoid being exposed to the smell of chemicals. Hanna was beyond accommodating, to the extent that she opened the salon early and opened all the windows and doors just so that I could have peace of mind.

I have tried many barbershops in Newton and the surrounding areas. I can easily say that Marty and the rest of the crew at Neighborhood Barbers are the best! Some other shops have similarly highly skilled barbers, some offer friendly service, some keep a clean and tidy shop, and some offer convenient app based appointment systems. None check all those boxes... except Neighborhood Barbers! Highly recommend!

I was recommended this place and have been going for a while and have never left disappointed. The amount of attention to detail is incredible and very tough to find nowadays. They have no problem in fixing mistakes. I didn’t even notice anything wrong and they started over on one of my nails to make it better on their own!

I have been going here for 2 years now and I always have a great experience. I have seen several different nail techs and each one has done an excellent job. I’ve tried gel and dip. My nails look beautiful each time.
I would give this a 4.5 cuz I LOVE the results, I got a gel x French manicure with a design, and it costed $125 without tip. my nail tech was really nice and the place is very clean and organized. I got one or two small cuts when she was prepping my cuticles, but only one bled. over all love this place and in my experience the nails last very long and they take super good care of your nails. Definently recommend!

I have come to Majestic Nails every 2-3 weeks for the past 13 years and will never go anywhere else. I always see Chloe, but I have had many family members and friends join me and all of the other nail technicians do an amazing job as well. The owners are super welcoming and always assist with any scheduling issue that I may have. Super clean place and have all of the new colors as soon as they come out. I continue to get complaints on my nails and will recommend this place to everyone I know!

I can’t believe I’m just discovering this salon, what a find! IMHO, The Lake is hands down the best area of Newton and I love what this business brings to the neighborhood. It’s difficult finding organic hair color at a salon without spending a boatload of cash, and I am so thankful to have found it now. Geeta did a great job cutting my long, naturally curly hair and the color came out lovely. The salon has a very calming and tranquil atmosphere, and I had a wonderful conversation with Geeta - she made me feel like we’ve been friends for years after just 2 hours in her chair. I’m truly looking forward to my next visit. If you’re looking to support a small business offering a much needed service in the area and a top notch experience, look no further than Avani. I was able to get an appointment with Asuka and this was the first time that I felt like my cut was done with care and time rather than being rushed out because I wasn’t a big bill balayage color + cut. I have been going to Wendy who is currently at Helso Coiffures for the past 10 years for Mani and Pedi. This is the 3rd place that she has been at and I have followed her so as many of her other clients. I have had Mani, Pedi at many other locations in the past, also sometimes when I am traveling I get Mani and/or Pedi. Wendy's work is magic. The Shellac lasts for more than 3 weeks and it could even lat longer if my nails didn't grow as fast. Her pedi (regular) lasts for months as my toe nails don't grow as much. She uses the same products as many other locations, it is her technique that makes it work. I sometimes go with the other members of my family who enjoy their Mani/Pedi done by Wendy's sisters. They are all wonderful.
I have been serviced by more than 1 stylist here, nothing but amazing experiences! 90% of the staff are quite charismatic & fun to talk with. I've never had a bad experience, and specifically Christina & Kamibel have done amazing work on my hair. We are so happy we hired Raven to restore our old windows. The windows desperately needed the full treatment to bring them back to life. We had a lot of wood rot and decay, misalignment, loud sash weights, broken cords, etc. Now they function beautifully - sashes glide easily up and down, top and bottom rails line up so we can engage the locks, and they have all new weatherstripping. And now they look incredible too. The original wavy glass is lovely and one window with florentine glass sparkles like jewelry. We couldn't be more satisfied. This team works miracles.

You can tell she’s genuinely cares about her patients and their well-being. I’ll give this place 10 stars would highly recommend you come here since I’ve been a patient my back has been amazing for the first time in more than 10 years.
Dr.Mui and Dr.Kelly are the best chiropractor i have been too and they have lots of training and a high level of education. They both volunteer at sports related events as medical personnel such as the Boston marathon. They are both also wonderful people. Ashley, who works the front desk is also wonderful and always super helpful! Overall, I recommend trying both Dr.Mui or Dr.Kelly as you may find you have a personal preference, though they are both equally wonderful.
I highly recommend The Body Center Pilates Studio. It is a Woman and privately owned Studio, where Erin, the Owner and an Instructor, truly cares about her Clients, their satisfaction. She is purposeful in increasing her Clients strength with each class. I have been a studio member (8 classes/month) for over 8 months, and with Erins' help, I have increased my core strength 10 fold and counting.
Erin, is a superb, experienced Pilates instructor who makes every class both fun and challenging. She methodically talks her students through every position while explaining how each move strengthens, open and stretches each muscle group. I have also met alot of new Pilates friends and highly recommend this Studio.
Both my husband and I have been taking Pilates lessons with Mara for a while and Highly recommend her! She is super professional, have an in depth knowledge of Pilates and other movement type methods. She is also super helpful in situations of specific injuries/sensitivities. Mara is also fun and engaging in her teaching style, being able to pay individual attention even when working in groups.
I had the best massage ever by Wawa, a new therapist there. She is amazing and got a lot of the tightness out. If I lived in Newton, I would go there every week!
Linette was very in tune with what my body needed and she adapted to wherever she noticed issues. Very intuitive and responsive to one's needs! I don't understand why the rest of the world isn't lined up outside their doors. Maybe they haven't attained an enlightened moment to realize what Alfred Lincoln has to offer! Thank you!

As an avid client of plenty different masseuses (Bella Sante, Mandarin, G2O), Natasha has been the best one I’ve had in a very long time! She uses just the right amount of pressure with long, fluid strokes. My back, neck, and shoulders loved her. Already started referring her and will be back!
Marla was amazing! Not only is she kind and honest, but I immediately felt relief with her techniques. I was having so much stress tension in my jaw, as well as extreme dry mouth from it, and she worked my jaw and cranium so well (my head was so sore the next day but in a good way, and I desperately NEEDED it!). I can't wait to go back and have her work on my shoulders/neck. 10/10 recommend!
If you’re looking for waterfalls and robes, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for an outstanding massage, this is the place to go. They listened to what I asked for and adjusted accordingly. I got medium/hard and that was plenty. I could actually feel each knot in my upper back disappearing. I will be back. Very reasonably priced too!

Suk is an excellent practitioner. She explains how your session will proceed and the benefits that can be achieved through the use of Accupressure. The facility is very clean, the atmosphere relaxing.
I highly highly highly recommend Merrill Pregeant... her wonderful technique is a joy and has helped me through a few rough spots. Her massage definitely helped a frozen shoulder I experienced some years ago.
Always a great, low cost massage. Today I saw GiGi and she was the best! I had had a mole removed on my back and so there was a bandaid there. She was careful and still gave a fabulous massage. I am weird and like a lot of time spent on my arms and legs, and she really listened. Most massage therapists don’t know how to do much except to the back and shoulders, but she really focused on the areas I prefer. The pressure was perfect. At one point I was cold (I’m essentially a lizard) and she turned the A/C off. All the massage therapists there are wonderful, plus they always have someone available. Pay cash for a discount.
I live in walking distance and had never been. I regret not going sooner. I had an excellent experience. Jie knew exactly what areas had been stressed and where I had tension. She is professional and knowledgeable. I’ll know be going monthly.
I have had chronic lower backpain for 4 years and I came to Olga after 3 mildly successful attempts at physical therapy. I do not have a herniated disk or major back injury, however, my backpain has been extremely debilitating these last few years. Anyone with chronic pain can empathize the psychological torture that it can exert on a person. I have heard from others that if performed cautiously, Pilates can be a gentle and sustainable method to improve chronic back pain and was hoping to dip my toes into this form of exercise. Starting off with a more physical therapy mindset and hopefully moving on to group classes to continue my recovery.
When I came to Olga, my back hurt 24 hours a day to varying degrees but maybe a 7 on the pain scale. It was hard to tie my shoes. I elected for the 6 session PT package and went once a week for 6 weeks. This was my best experience with PT. It is a one-on-one session with Olga who really took the time to monitor my progress and performed constant analysis of muscle activation, posture and range of motion.
The sessions with Olga exclusively one-on-one with her and were often posture muscle activation and healthy movement based. It included some exercises that you can do at home with only a floor and a wall, but a lot was done on the pilates reformer, spring bands and chair. This met my goal of using this as a gentle introduction to pilates to see if this form of exercise was right for me. We also finished each session with either laser therapy or shockwave therapy at no additional charge.
At previous PTs, you speak with the PT on the first day and they make a regiment for you and largely pass you off to PTs-in-training who walk you through the exercises in the following sessions. It can feel very rushed and impersonal. Almost like they could have just sent you an email for your exercises for the week and then charge you a great sum of money.
This was a very personalized and patient focused experience without it being a crowded room of patients being juggled between employees in a profit focused larger PT company. It was more expensive than my previous PT experiences but I feel was a much greater value. After 4 years of back pain I was happy to pay a little more for an improved chance at recovery.
I can happily say that my backpain has made great progress in only 6 weeks. I feel some improved strength and changes in how my core, glutes and hips activate in my daily life. Most days I get significant chunks of the day where I am completely pain free. I will give myself credit that I was very good at completing the "homework" that Olga gave me each week. Just showing up to the classes with Olga is only a small part of the recovery process, you have to take the exercises you learn home and perform them on your own but most importantly, take the healthy movement patterns and muscle activation that these exercises teach you to your day-to-day life.
I still have backpain. If I sit down too long it hurts. If I do a lot of lifting/bending it hurts. Even after I do my PT exercises it sometimes hurts. It took a long time to get sick and it will take a long time to get better. I am still extremely happy with the progress that I have made in these 6 weeks.
After discussion with Olga, we both think I am ready to try the classes at Holistic PT and Pilates with Evellin. I feel doing it at Holistic PT and Pilates is a wise decision as Evellin understands that many of her clients come from a PT focused perspective and may not be ready for high intensity Pilates workout.
I'm excited to start these classes with Evellin and and optimistic and hopeful that my backpain is finally on the path to a full recovery.

The team is fantastic! I would give them 6 stars if I could. Both compassionate and kind, yet strict enough to make sure you do your exercises. Just what one needs from physical therapy! I felt like Caty always found time to listen to my concerns and always treated me with kindness. There were plenty of laughs and while I am glad I don’t need PT anymore I miss seeing my friends at PPT in Newton. 10 months post ACL/MCL reconstruction and back to all my favorite sports. I could not be happier.
