“A few days ago, I had an appointment with Savannah, and she assisted me during my laser tattoo removal process.
I want to say that I had an excellent experience, the place is beautiful, the attention is wonderful, and Savannah guided me through the process with so much patience.
I had gotten this eyebrow tattoo about six years ago at another place, and it was way too dark for my skin tone. I was very happy with the results from the very first session. Savannah recommended that at least two sessions would be needed to remove it completely, but I was already satisfied after the first one because my eyebrows lightened so nicely.
She also gave me clear aftercare instructions for the following days. Overall, I just want to say that this place is highly recommended, the service is excellent, and I am truly grateful for the care I received that day.“

She did a fantastic job listening to what I wanted and making my vision come to life. I deducted one star because my appointment was for Event/Glam Photoshoot Make Up and Dyson Bouncy Curl Blow Out, but I didn't end up getting a blow out. She styled my hair with a flat iron but I was still charged for a bouncy curl blow out which I didn't feel was the same value. Other than that, I was very happy with my experience.“

We worked together on both my hair and makeup looks, and I truly appreciated how she listened to my ideas while also bringing her expert vision to life. Edra took the time to walk me through every step she was doing and even shared helpful tips on how to care for my hair after removing the updo, which I really appreciated.

“What a hidden BackBay gem! This salon is located across Agassiz Road on Queensbury Street. I discovered this when searching for a salon that does short haircuts for women located near me on Yelp. I arrived 45 minutes early, but Bianca kindly took me early, which was really kind. My experience started with the obligatory wash with warm water and fragrant shampoo. Bianca worked steadily and efficiently. I really appreciated that she didn't pull on my ears or nick me as I have experienced at other salons that won't be named. It is extra work and challenging work cutting short hair. The cut was stylish, and I walked out feeling fabulous. Price was $100 and well worth it. I will definitely be a return customer and cannot recommend Salon M and Bianca highly enough.“

“My experience at Philosphe was a 10 out of 10! This is coming from someone who has never had a good experience at a hair salon and has not found a go to stylist in my 30+ years of living. I tend to do extensive research on google, salon website and stylist social media accounts before committing to a spot and unfortunately I have always been left with choppy hair or a cut that was far from my inspiration photos.

I picked Neli based off of the google reviews and the haircuts on the models she had in her social media. Neli was incredible through my whole experience, she was kind, relatable and honest which I appreciated. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and took the time to check in to make sure things were going well and to my liking. I think I’ve found my go to stylist! I was very happy with how my haircut came out, it far exceeded my expectations.

Coming from someone who is traumatized by other salons and stylists, believe me when I say, this has been the best experience and I would recommend to everyone I know.

They did my cut before my wedding (fixing a 2-year grown out mullet to a layered bob), and they also did a big mullet transformation with me this summer. Em also gave me some great tips and products to try out that have fully changed my ability to style my hair. Truly the best hair service I’ve had in the Boston area with incredibly reasonable prices.
