I never write reviews but after my outstanding experience with Nial Hanley and Hanley Carpentry I really felt that I should. I was referred to Nial Hanley at a very difficult time via a friend who knew of his great work and reputation. The contractor we had previously hired to rebuild our self-managed South End brownstone condo building had abandoned the job mid-way through leaving us in a terrible position. The gutted building was close to rough finish but had lots of loose ends including outstanding inspections and multiple subcontractor issues. It was an incredibly complicated and stressful situation with a lot at stake for five separate unit owners. We needed a contractor who did high quality work, who could navigate the complexities and headaches of the job and the personalities of multiple unit owners and, get the job done quickly. In today's building climate that's an incredibly tall order. Nial, who was genuinely sympathetic to our situation, turned out to be a life saver. He stepped right, got the job back on track quickly and helped us find ways to manage cost cutting and trade-offs while still ensuring high quality results. He was very responsive, flexible and easy to work. He did a great job staying patient and helping us to make decisions to stay on track. Nial really shines as a problem solver and is great in a crisis. For example, we had a sprinkler pipe burst with flooding in the building. We needed to shut the water off at the street level but there was a car sitting on the access point. Nial, along with his crew and some others, lifted the car up so Boston Water and Sewer could get access - pretty amazing! His crew, clearly loyal to him, were excellent - reliable, polite, neat and willing to go the extra distance. Nial takes great pride in his work, cares deeply about satisfying his customer and is a pleasure to work with. I would happily work with him again. I can't recommend Nial and Hanley Carpentry enough.

While my eye lashes are blonde and my eyes are almond shaped, I need to apply mascara daily to make my eyes have a brighter more awake appearance. The individual services Deanna provides me are a tint (dye the lash) and a lift (a treatment to provide a long lasting curl) which stays put for about 3-4 months! No maintenance, no extensions necessary.

I purchased my home last year and their name is on the burner and called them to service and tank fill. Without any hesitation Frank ensured me he will fill up my tank on his way home and so he did. Meeting him for the first time, he went out of his way to show me a trick or two to make sure I wouldn't go cold in the house. Did he have too? No, that could've been money in his pocket to have me place a service call for something so simple. That's true loyalty to his town of customers. I love visiting a New You Spa. I go every two weeks for the best massage. The staff is welcoming and kind and the space is clean. There is a lovely atmosphere and many services including facials, manicures, pedicures, and more. Parking is always easy and complimentary. I highly recommend a visit -- or several!

I called Power Plumbing the day after Christmas to fix the heat in the sunroom, and also look at a ceiling water leak stemming from the bathroom. They called back immediately, kept me posted on arrival time that afternoon, and fixed the heat, diagnosed the problem in the bathroom. They also did not overcharge me for unnecessary repairs and were very honest about what work needed to be done. I will be calling them again for future heat and plumbing issues.

I've been going here for at least 10 years and have never been disappointed. Yesterday, I realized that my nails were an absolute disaster. I've been going through some physical and emotional stuff, so my nails were not a priority. But I called Belle Visage up and they took me in last minute. I held back crying the entire time as my legs and hands got the best massage and care ever. I don't know if she sensed my pain or not, but it meant more to me than anyone could possibly imagine how much care and attention she provided. I left feeling human again. Thank you so much for making time for me, and providing some much needed care to heal my mind, body and soul.

I received a gift certificate for Mother's Day so I was excited to get a facial and Body Benefits did not disappoint. The receptionist was patient and informative when I called to schedule and she promptly greeted me when I entered. Fiona performed my facial. She identified my problem areas and worked diligently to address them using a variety of high end products. She was relentless with extraction but rewarded me with a heavenly shoulder massage. She massaged my feet, arms and hands while waiting for a mask to set. The only con of this whole amazing experience is that the pricing is undefined. The service menu is basically useless. The esthetician will provide what is appropriate and when you check out you will get total based on your treatment. In my case it was $225. I'm not saying it was not worth it. I just want people to be aware.
