Pull up a chair, grab a drink…this is going to be a long post! When I fell in love with a fireplace surround at an antique store, I wondered if I could find a contractor who could ‘work backwards’ to make a dream happen. I met with two contractors who promptly ghosted me. I though about putting the darn surround on e-bay. Luckily, The Stove Place-where I bought the propane stove- put me in touch with Chad. From the first meeting I appreciated Chad’s confidence, insight and enthusiasm. It’s infectious. He quickly pulled the permits and got to work. The added touch of putting down thick cardboard to protect the floor from all the traffic that was going to happen was extremely considerate. He treated the project like it was happening at his house. He was always on time, one step ahead with planning and very respectful yet easy going and kept mum and I laughing. I felt included with what he was hoping to accomplish each day and even the following day. He organized the electrician and was ruthless with getting the inspections completed. Chad’s skill with framing, dry wall, plastering, anything to do with wood really, is top notch. He works carefully and has a high personal standard that shines through his work. He has a tool for everything. Never did he have to run out to grab anything. He arrives prepared to tackle the unthinkable! I honestly cannot thank you enough for making my fireplace project come to life. It’s by far the best room in the house now! We’re very grateful.
The crew from EJs Painting did an AMAZING job on the exterior of our house, staining the shingles and painting the foundation. Anthony and Bobby were meticulous in examining all the shingles and woodwork as they went, and replaced anything that needed attention. We couldn’t be happier!!!

I just read a blog post by Holden Acupuncture about how to strengthen the Liver Meridian. I was having a problem with a middle sore toe in my right foot and had read elsewhere that the Liver Meridian might help with this. Last night, I applied the suggestion in the Holden blogpost about massaging a particular acupressure point, and it worked, and I mean, immediately! The soreness reduced a lot. This morning I woke with no soreness at all! Miracle healing!The blogpost also talked about clarifying one's vision for one's path forward as another technique for strengthening the liver. As it happens, recently, I've become somewhat bewildered as to where my career is heading. And I'm trying to clarify this for myself. Had no idea that this could be related to the sore toe and a couple of other physical symptoms that could be generated by a weak Liver Meridian. Thank you for this excellent blog post!

Kent Tree is the only place to call if you’re in need. They recently removed a large Maple from my front yard and they did an amazing job. They know what they are doing and do it exceptionally well. Very professional and knowledgeable from consult to complete. Would highly recommend, they are 10 out of 10!!
Helen is the sweetest, she runs the shop by herself and loves to make her customers happy. I stopped in to have my nails done again after a year, and she still remembered me after the one time I came to see her. I showed her a picture of something I had in mind and told her to do her own thing with it, and she made me a nice & unique set

My family uses Mulroy Family Dental. Very professional Dental Office. Dr Tom Mulroy is very skilled and knowledgeable. The Hygenists are always great too! I feel so comfortable with their dental services I stayed even though they don't fully accept the Dental Insurance Plan I have. A portion is covered and I pay the balance. I know the integrity, professionalism, cleanliness and skill is the way the office is run on all levels so here I stay. Everyone is super friendly on the Staff. I know the Mulroys from Church and that is how we found out about the Practice.

I have long, curly hair and it’s not always easy finding someone who really understands how to work with curls—but Cristin absolutely does. She knew exactly what I was looking for and what my curls needed. I usually leave salons with frizz and end up restyling at home, but this time my curls looked amazing the moment I walked out. Highly recommend Cristin if you’re looking for someone who truly gets curly hair!

I have nothing but high regards for this practice. I have been many times but today I returned with a chronic problem that was not treated by a lengthy visit to a local ER a few weeks ago. Today, within one hour I was greeted, checked in, seen, treated and meds ordered within one hour. Happy to say that I already feel so much better than I did 24 hours ago. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns and issues and acted on them. We are very fortunate to have this team in our town.
