149 Winter St, Hanover“We absolutely love Day School!! We send both our dogs and the fun, enrichment and training they receive is outstanding. The Trainers truly care for each dog and it shows through the fun pics and videos they capture each day. I have seen the confidence grow in both dogs and it has been commented on by friends and family. I highly recommend day school and Five Rings in general as they are top of the list in my opinion.“

53 New Driftway, Scituate“Brought in my new puppy, Jack, for his first visit and around of shots. The tech and vet were awesome with him. He was a typical rambunctious puppy jumping and running around. They handled him with care for the exam and shots. I’ve been going here for 45 years seeing generations of vets come and go and I’m always happy with them.“

I was hand feeding him, but I was so scared because I couldn’t afford the very costly surgery. that he needed to save his life, but thanks to the people at Odd Pet Vet and all the donors out there who always pitch in and help out Odd Pet Vet. We were able to work something out and get Oopsie the surgery that he needed. Oopsie is currently doing amazing.!! and has been given a second chance thanks to everybody at Odd Pet Vet!!!!“

191 Beal St, Hingham“Shipyard Dog Co. is absolutely the best in the area for boarding and daycare! We have two one-year-olds and after hearing about behavioral incidents and illness issues at other Hingham facilities, we needed somewhere we could truly trust. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about every dog in their care. The facility is spotless and well-run — our pups get excited the moment we pull into the parking lot! The enrichment activities are a huge bonus, and for the quality you get, the value is outstanding. On top of that, the digital booking makes scheduling incredibly easy. Highly recommend to any local pet parent!“

61 New Driftway, Scituate“I have been bringing my dog to Recurve K9 for almost a year and have used both their day care and boarding services. They operate two wonderful locations: Scituate and the brand‑new Norwell facility, and I’ve had the chance to experience both. The quality is consistently exceptional.
The staff is extraordinary. Every team member brings a genuine passion for our furry family members and creates a warm, loving, and fun environment. My dog looks forward to day care each week, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing attentive, caring professionals are looking after every detail.
The owners, Stephanie and Mark, are truly special. They are generous, down‑to‑earth, and wholeheartedly committed to the wellbeing of every dog that comes through their doors. They’ve built an impressive culture rooted in kindness, trust, and a real love for animals. Their community involvement is equally notable. They are generous contributors to the communities in which they operate their business and consistently give back in meaningful ways.
I can’t wait for the new Norwell location to begin offering boarding services as well. Given the exceptional experience I’ve had at Scituate, I know it will be outstanding.
Recurve K9 is a rare find: a place where you feel confident, welcomed, and truly supported as a dog parent. I cannot recommend them highly enough.“

402 Bridge St #3A, Weymouth“I am so lucky I found Lucky Dog Salon and Jeff who is the Groomer. Not only does Jeff always do a great job, he befriends all the dogs that he grooms. I have two dogs, one is a little Yorkie and one is a medium Golden Doodle. Both of my dogs love to go see Jeff. If I mention his name they get all excited. But the best part is how he is so good with the dogs that he is able to groom them without any problems. He is so kind to the animals and they feel this which makes them want to come back. I highly recommend Lucky Dog Salon on Bridge Street in Weymouth. I have always owned a dog and I have never ever had a better groomer or kinder person then Jeff. Trust me, you will not regret bringing your animals to Jeff.“

“We have taken numerous classes with Donna and Marissa, starting with puppy kindergarten when our Rottweiler was just 12 weeks old. We highly recommend working with them and owe our dog’s good behavior to the many tools we’ve gained through their training.
Donna is an expert who truly understands dogs and brings decades of wisdom and experience to her students. She often begins class by inviting questions from the group if there is anything that came up during the previous week or skills people want to focus on that day. She is dynamic and responsive, tailoring each class to what the students and dogs need. This allows for plenty of individual focus in her group classes, which are typically only a handful of dogs.
Beyond providing a professional roadmap for meeting your dog’s training and obedience goals, Donna makes learning FUN. Classes incorporate games, along with various forms of socialization such as agility obstacles, working through real world distractions, and occasionally training outdoors.
We look forward to our classes and are grateful to have found a resource like Donna and Marissa. It has been a pleasure learning new skills and continually building on our Rottie’s strong foundation as she grows.“

211 Lincoln St, Hingham“I’m sharing this so that I can tell you about how wonderful A Pets Life South Shore is.
We started taking our almost 6 month puppy there in March after having a frustrating experience in another. Tobin is an Australian Shepherd/Lab Mix that we rescued from Scituate animal shelter. He’s also deaf.
This means that he can’t respond to verbal cues, and he also cannot take cues from other dogs when he plays too rough which is how dogs usually learn from each ñother.
He has been going to training since the day he came home to us. He is an exceptionally smart dog and really eager to learn and please.
At the previous Day Care, we were going to we found that every day we would pick him up a different staff would tell us something different about Tobin. It became really frustrating because we didn’t know what we should be working on with him and had hoped that they would be working with him a little bit too based on how they present themselves.
When I had finally had enough, I reached out to Colleen at A Pets Life. I brought Tobin in to meet her and some of her team and I can say for Tobin, it was love at first sight. He absolutely loves his days there and comes home happy and exhausted. Every time we pick him up, we can see how much they care about him and how well he is treated. He just spent the first two nights outside of our home using their boarding and he really enjoyed himself. They adapted to his needs and took a ton of stress off of me during a very important weekend away. — with A Pet's Life, South Shore at A Pet's Life, South Shore.“

“As a professional dog trainer myself, I have extremely high standards for the trainers and facilities I take my own dogs to. April and her team are extremely knowledgable and run an incredible facility that hosts some of the best seminars and classes I've been to. In addition to providing some of the best dog sport-related education in the state, April's private lessons on fitness training have significantly improved my 10 year old Australian Shepherd's quality of life. Anyone who has a high-energy aging sport dog knows how heart-breaking it is to watch a dog mentally want to keep going as their body begins to give up on them. Since implementing April's exercises and recommendations, I've noticed a significant improvement in my dog's mobility and a reduction in her pain.
I highly recommend you try the offerings at New England K9 Athlete, your dog will thank you!“
