Pet Boarding and Training near Scituate picked by BestProsInTown
“Brought in my new puppy, Jack, for his first visit and around of shots. The tech and vet were awesome with him. He was a typical rambunctious puppy jumping and running around. They handled him with care for the exam and shots. I’ve been going here for 45 years seeing generations of vets come and go and I’m always happy with them.”
“I have been bringing my dog to Recurve K9 for almost a year and have used both their day care and boarding services. They operate two wonderful locations: Scituate and the brand‑new Norwell facility, and I’ve had the chance to experience both. The quality is consistently exceptional.
The staff is extraordinary. Every team member brings a genuine passion for our furry family members and creates a warm, loving, and fun environment. My dog looks forward to day care each week, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing attentive, caring professionals are looking after every detail.
The owners, Stephanie and Mark, are truly special. They are generous, down‑to‑earth, and wholeheartedly committed to the wellbeing of every dog that comes through their doors. They’ve built an impressive culture rooted in kindness, trust, and a real love for animals. Their community involvement is equally notable. They are generous contributors to the communities in which they operate their business and consistently give back in meaningful ways.
I can’t wait for the new Norwell location to begin offering boarding services as well. Given the exceptional experience I’ve had at Scituate, I know it will be outstanding.
Recurve K9 is a rare find: a place where you feel confident, welcomed, and truly supported as a dog parent. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”
“As a professional dog trainer myself, I have extremely high standards for the trainers and facilities I take my own dogs to. April and her team are extremely knowledgable and run an incredible facility that hosts some of the best seminars and classes I've been to. In addition to providing some of the best dog sport-related education in the state, April's private lessons on fitness training have significantly improved my 10 year old Australian Shepherd's quality of life. Anyone who has a high-energy aging sport dog knows how heart-breaking it is to watch a dog mentally want to keep going as their body begins to give up on them. Since implementing April's exercises and recommendations, I've noticed a significant improvement in my dog's mobility and a reduction in her pain.
I highly recommend you try the offerings at New England K9 Athlete, your dog will thank you!”
