“We brought our dog in for a bath, groom, and nail trim with Jocelyn. Jocelyn did a fantastic job (see photo) and was great about communication. When Jocelyn sent us a photo, I couldn’t believe our dog looked so happy (she usually appears traumatized at the groomer’s lol). We will definitely be coming back!“

“Pam was the third trainer I hired to work with my reactive dog Ralph. I didn’t have much hope since he wasn’t making any progress with the last two trainers we worked with. Pam was so patient with me, Ralph and also my two young children. She made it a family effort to help Ralph and my kids loved being involved. When we first met with Pam my dog couldn’t even see another dog while going for a walk or he would go crazy. Lunging, barking and pulling making it very hard for me to control him. After working with Pam we can now successfully walk past other dogs without Ralph reacting and can even walk nicely next to me while I push a stroller! We also recently have been going on group walks with other dogs which has been great! Thank you so much Pam!“

“It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation for a week and not have to worry about our pets. Marybeth took care of our fur babies like they were her own. She spent time with me before we left going over feeding routines and was very knowledgeable about giving my cat (who happens to have some drama queen/diva/b**ch moments) her glucosamine medicine. She checked in with me every day with updates and a pic and she went above and beyond because we came home to a clean litter box - which was something she didn’t need to do.10/10 recommend Marybeth!“

“Dr mertz is great. I've been bringing a variety of animals to him over the last 10+ years. And prices are amazing for the services. I need to call them soon actually to make an appointment for my tortoises to get their nails and beaks trimmed! I've brought chickens here as well. They do take wildlife for rehab. Call first and make sure you go to the correct door for wildlife. It's not the same as the regular vet section. You can also take a tour of the facility. I think it's like 5 for self guided and 10 for a guided one. I always learn something when I'm there“

“Kay is an awesome trainer! She taught us a lot with my boy Teddy. She was responsive and a great teacher. Our Teddy knows how to: sit, lay, come, and stay within a few session. Book her for your next training. There is nothing better than an obedient dog.“

“Best experience ever! I have a Doberman puppy. They are an aggressive breed with a bad rap. He is full of energy and I had absolutely no control. He would take control of our walks and it was quite a job taking him out. He was constantly taking the kids toys and we would have to fight to get them back. After some research I chose Canine College for some help. They have different levels of training and it's up to you to decide what you want. So I left my dog Coco there for 2 weeks. He came back better. After a while I decided to bring him back for another 2 weeks for the next level. After all he is an aggressive breed. I now have the best dog ever. They suggest that the family participate in the training. I suggest you listen to them and participate. They have taught me and my family how to communicate with him. He now listens and I now have complete control over our walks. And he listens and responds. They also offer day care. I chose to take him there a few days a week. He loves it there. If you choose to take you pet for training I highly suggest this place. Bruce and Robbin have taught me so much I just can't thank them enough. They a“

“So far pretty good. You get a video feed access to their main room so u can see ur dog playing with other dogs etc. Prices overall are decent and cheaper than say rover folks. They do dog bath too. Its basically an indoor place only. In a stripmall. I dont think they have an outdoor area. We havre a small indoor type dog. We go here for boarding and so far happy. Only thing is our dog sometimes has diarrhea day after we pick him up. Anxiety? Dunno“

“My mother and I came into the Animal Rescue League of Boston (Dedham location) today looking to give a young kitten a forever home. When we entered, we were immediately greeted by Taylor at the reception desk and we were brought into the adoption center to meet the kittens shortly after! Taylor, as well as the other staff members were very patient with the process as my mother and I agreed on which adorable kitten to bring home (which was a very tough decision considering that the Animal Rescue League of Boston location in Dedham had plenty of adorable kittens/cats to choose from). After spending close to three hours at the shelter visiting the cats and discussing our options, we ultimately chose a timid yet very loving and talkative young kitty. Following choosing our new kitten, Taylor was very helpful in walking us through the paperwork in the most efficient, yet understandable way possible and gave us tips on how to make our fur baby feel at home. I highly recommend the Animal Rescue League to anyone looking to adopt! We had a wonderful experience!“
